Cars we may well have been here before and we may well go there again - 3p I mean. With no significant trial data anticipated before "mid year" and with Calculus still selling there is every reason to think the sp may well not have hit the bottom yet. I have averaged down already, buying quite a lot more with the recent raise, so even if I was inclined to buy more (I am overweight already and at an average far higher than today's price) I am inclined to sit on my hands. Buying now feels a bit like catching a falling knife.... I for one will wait for a reason to see the seemingly never ending sp decline reversing before averaging down yet further; I am likely to be able to buy a lot more and reduce my average a lot further by waiting.

Yes a fair point Rob, though even their patience might currently be being tested; maybe even they would be happy for a shorter term "payout"?

And that is precisely the point I fear, with no news of significance for quite some while and with an II drifting shares out for months now I would suggest that the share price "drifting down" was an inevitability. And ion the absence of an all out bid for the company or a serious cash injection from the likes of Genmab it is difficult to see what is likely to change the momentum positively? Moreover, even with an incoming bid, with the market cap languishing at below £100m can shareholders be confident that they will realise full value? I rather hope that bid does NOT come in until after SCOPE trial results and a cash windfall from Genmab.

Sorry McNol I disagree the "spread" at 12:36 was 0.88 - 0.90 so the mid price was 0.89 and the SELL directly preceding it was at 0.8802p, the next BUY was at 0.892p.

But hey, so what - it hasn;t made a blind bit of difference since. Trade volumes are still insignificant at only 28m so far today and the sp now 0.85 - 0.88 and buys going through at circa 0.87p and below; so if it was a BUY I suspect they wish they had waited! 😉

I can see why anyone would think that based on the trades reported by the LSE. Unfortunately that does not show everything as, at that at the time of execution and for a very brief period prior to it, the trading spread was actually 0.047 - 0.049p. It was only later that it became apparent why (perhaps) that level disappeared so quickly.

Maybe true VC and supported by a small tick up this morning after some buying interest - maybe Roland will throw some crumbs to his devoted followers! 😉

They already are - that is what is stopping people buying here and now at these levels; the belief that with the drain of Medway CCS , no farm-out news nor cash flow forecasts and without any positive updates and, or, confirmed "uplift" from Cambay and unforeseen delays on the project, how can anyone be confident that another fund raise isn't just round the corner?

I have made no comment regarding his motivations, intentions or tactics; simply his assertion that his observations are always right. No, not always - but often. So no RJ, not "praise" just recognition.

Firstly RJ I contradicted his own view that he is "always right" that said, his cynicism and negativity has been seen to be more appropriate than the overly optimistic hyperbole of the rose tinted spectacle brigade, whose unmitigated positivity has far more often than not been proven totally misplaced. Rojo has always forewarned that time moves slowly in Tanzania than anywhere else, we have seen and will continue to see far to many false dawns come and go, target dates continue to be missed, that periods of "radio silence" should not be assumed as indications that "lots will be happening in the background", that inactivity and the dearth of news will result in the share price sliding - opinions that I have broadly shared. Where he has not been correct is that there have been achievements, there has been progress, that incrementally we will get to the "promised land".... however, can anyone be confident of when exactly that will be?

So RJ I suggest that you keep your bag of marbles and put them with your box of frogs..... 😘

But surely by far the most relevant and material point is that Bluestar is still predicting income generation in H1 2025.... that is the only date that matters. Until that changes is it really even worth sweating about recoverable drilling delays?

But BP, it is not solely about Ruvuma, there will be more to come, even if that is spending more on re-working Kiliwani.... that in itself is likely to require AEX to run cap in hand to shareholders to fund that methinks.

Moreover you could have bought AEX at below 0.70p less than 1 year ago when pipeline was still scheduled for 2024 - the time value of money would not have been an issue then but even so ARA didn't take advantage of a very low sp at that point did they? Unlike some, including me. And, in the intervening period the sp has been above 2.0p.

I have spoken to Sheikh Ghaithi about this and yes you could say "he would say that wouldn't he" but I fully trust that this is a long term strategy for ARA - as long as AEX maintain their ability to act as an "operator" of the licenses they "acquire"....

I cannot believe that "nothing is happening" imj.beadle - we know that Selan is progressing the re-working of Cambay wells as we speak; all that we don't know is where they are or how productive that work has been...? And that is the info (or the start of it) that the market is awaiting.
