I've said it before but my own gut feeling is that we'll still open in March or April with older movies and re-releases of Tenet / WW84 and others to get us through to the Autumn, possibly in tandem with one last loan from those who were competing to lend to us.
Becuase I just can't see the restrictions being lifted fully until late summer / autumn.
Which brings me slightly off topic but is anyone else getting proper effed off with all this now?
I'm actually looking forward to fighting my way through a crowded bar only to be ignored for ten minutes one day.

The flip side to Bond being delayed is that other studios may see it as an opportunity to release some of their lower profile movies away from the shadow of 007.
With such a congested glut of movies to come, studios will be working out possible release schedules like an F1 race strategy.
If Bond decides to effectively pit, there's a chance for others to make a dash up the field.
All this depends on the sodding restrictions being lifted though.
But we're only 21 days into Jan and the UK has already vaccinated almost 5M people. Need the U.S to get into gear now.

But you're coming across a bit myopic.
You've not fully comprehended Zstar's post where he states that your post was deleted becuase it was part of a longer thread and you continue to take that personally.
Then you state that 'all investors concentrate on the aspects that will drive the price'.
Well - yes. But both ways.
To ignore something that may not happen (in this case a possible RI or extra funding) is not deramping. It's common sense and being open to very real possibilities with your eyes wide open. Investors need to factor in and prepare for that if needs be.
You may not ever be in a car accident, but we all buckle up every time we set off.
I genuinely think we'll see it through safely but there's absolutey nothing wrong with facing up to each and every challenge and discussing that in a sensible and reasoned manner.

I too am in this for the long term as I believe it’s a no-brainer that cinema will return to being as popular as ever and if not more so after the pandemic as people will be hungry for normality.
I also have confidence in Mooky to do what’s right to see his company survive through to actually see those days.
And it’s also why these boards should be used by investors to discuss all possible REASONABLE scenarios.
And Mooky having to call a Rights Issue is one such reasonable scenario.
It would be negligent for any investor NOT to weigh up and plan for all eventualities.
Picture those old war movies of a commander of a battle fleet. He sits in a war room and asks his officers for options and ruminates on every possible outcome so he can be ready.
That’s what these boards should be for.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

My own gut feeling is that if needs be, Mooky will take on one last loan to get us through.
Just my opinion but I’m also prepared for an RI.
But there’s just as good a chance we can get through to blockbuster time with no new funding required.

Saw that as well.
Spring/summer seems to be the time when we see a difference.
Autumn for full release of the measures I expect.
Which fits in with my prediction of opening with older films, mixed in with re-releases of Tenet, Wonder Woman etc in April/ May building up to opening the floodgates in Autumn.
It’ll be close but I trust Mooky to find a way to get us safe should the need arise as he has done in the past.

Clarity on stimulus checks. All of that will be after our market closed though.
In other news relevant to us, California starts to ease restrictions and the Johnson & Johnson one shot jab shows great results and is just weeks away from release.

Reading that, my conclusion is that they're just massive investors.
However, it's not like they're not going to openly state that a takeover is their aim either!
Not sure if it's a lost in translation thing or not but the constant referral to Cine as 'the target' is an intersting choice of words.

Its going to be cutting it fine to get businesses including ours opened up.
In theory, the deaths and cases should be zero or close to zero by end of March.
The clamour from business leaders on both sides of the Atlantic on their respective governments to drop restrictions will be deafening.
However, they won’t just drop everything even with cases and deaths at zero, they’ll ease the restrictions gradually.
My complete gut feeling prediction is that Cine will start off again slowly in March / April with older films and at reduced capacity like last time.
The rumours are that Bond is once again being pushed back ‘til Autumn.
And that’s when I think things really will be fully open with no restrictions. Well, in our key markets of Cali & NY at least.
Hopefully we can just scrape our arses through.

Earlier, I thought the dip could’ve been Jangho accumulating again.
But as Fun pointed out at the time, the volume is too low.
So the same goes for if they decided to take profits today.
Volume too low again?
So all in all, the dip was just following the rest of the market in flapping over the talk of tougher lockdown measures.
Which overall works in our best interests.
