I always said to myself that I'm riding this one out to either the triumphant or bitter end.
I'm currently 20% up on this but I'm not selling a single share. I'm fascinated, intrigued and addicted to this story in equal measures to see where it ends up a few years post-covid.
It's been a great day today but I've seen us crash down to the depths of the 20's and I'm not counting any chickens until those bloody doors open again.
But for the first time, it does indeed feel that we have a tail wind now.
As I said yesterday, cases and deaths will fall off a cliff face in a few weeks and can then see this start to get really exciting for us.
And if we do hit the £1.50, fat lad here is getting the kebabs in at kicking out time. ;)

I think the pandemic has brought a lot of canny and clued up private investors out and it's great to see the old money and fat cat institutions running scared in that example.
Hopefully also highlights that these institutions will stoop to the lowest levels to spook out PI's and the tactic of 24/7 derampers is something we've not only witnessed but also should be proud of for weeding out of this board for good.
In the next few weeks, deaths and cases are going to fall off a cliff.

It's just educated guesses at the moment.
We'll get a much better feel for how governments on both sides of the Atlantic are going to progress then.
What I'd love to see as the cases and deaths fall away then indeed, plummet is the god awful media moving away from project fear and to instead start whipping up 'project open up the economy.'
The majority of Joe Public will follow suit.
Which in turn puts pressure on governments.
As I said a while back, last August we were at single digit / zero deaths without a vaccine.
By April/May, we'll be there again. This time, WITH a vaccine and the most vulnerable protected.
With many businesses going under, a population frustrated and angry that they can't hug loved ones let alone get to bars, restaurants and plan for holidays - the government is going to have to employ Jesus himself to justify maintaining the restrictions to the masses when deaths and cases are at single figures.

Last of the big spenders I know but I put 2k into Wetherspoon last week.
They've already made a decent recovery so there won't be massive gains to be had but I still see some recovery cash to be had there when they open up fully and I see them as fairly low risk.
People will pile in to the pubs as soon as humanly possible.
It's better than my spare cash sat doing nothing and they seem in a good position to grow more once we get fully out of Covid too.

I tend to ignore politics in regards to this share but that is just way too convenient timing.
It's great for us that we'll now see cases fall right off but if this could've been done when we first started testing, the economy may not be in the situation it is now.

The fact they are talking about these targets also says to me that they don't see the court case vs Cineplex as anything too concerning either.
Which means yhis'll be a massive year if we can get through it.
Covid gone.
Court case gone.
Blockbusters lined up as far as the eye can see.
We may yet end up acquiring Cineplex and overtake AMC as the biggest chain in the world.
It'll take us a decade to pay it off like but we'd have the kudos, ok!
