As I wrote earlier the short-term pi's seem to be dismissing MaB/AvidiMab potential wrongly... as those are the most likely near term commercial deals heck we ever got one! No they have gone from covid play which is over though not in a sink the sp to 10p way.... Covidity proved to be scancell positive ..... to cancer play via modi 1..... much excitement from the patient 1 experience share... scancell failed to update when expected downer... still coming that though .... 33p is about right currently so is undervalued... I'm a buyer all be it tiny not going to get this to £8 any time soon type buyer lol and the next Modify news could indeed cause excitement -at least it is likely to be data on 19 patients , Trinity report a great read for the science really good explaining of moditope in it

Not at all you are quite right time will certainly be the most important thing for the patients on the trial who are very very ill ... I'm just doing the basics this is the earliest emerging pattern we can see at this moment thing... And that is k to do here its whats been done with the Covidity data on here already.... that won't be getting any more data beyond the final paper unless its partnered ...Modify on the other hand will be bringing in constant data and indeed evolving as a trial... the number of patients expected to be enrolled already increased in a short period of RNSs.... could see that expand even more to include other cancer targets... I'm not saying this tiny piece of very early revealing of the picture will be anything like the final full picture I'm just saying if you look at those 6 initial patients 3 of which are Cohort 2 that we have a glimpse of this is what it looks like... and that is it... that will change on next update :)

I'm not making expectations I'm just looking at the tiny bit of pattern given..... the whole wallpaper design is likely to be a lot different!.... We are getting early indications and will be given more early indications...A fuller picture can be built until final results

We have debated Trinity valuations before often to say they are rubbish but I think a current 33p from them is fair for where we are at now the projected high risk of failure they always report never bothers me as that is just standard ...It does look though we have gone from the Covid play to the modi play in short term pi's heads,I think more MaBs/AvidiMab deal/s could shake that ...current buying interest has been lost due to no further modi update-which was due.... I agree that the team are probably waiting on a decent amount of data from the 19 already dosed cohort 2 trial participants ... If it follows the first 3 you get one-third with tumor regression one third with stable disease and one-third with no benefit but an immine response..... I know that will probably not quite be the case it could be better it could be worse it could be some targets respond so much better than others..... one thing is for sure.... it is causing a response the moditope mechanism is working.... modi 1 commercial? too early to tell but as I've said before if the proof of concept that the moditope mechanism works scancell will be tuning that right up to maximum thats how they science....

The next update could be Modify and who knows if it goes to the current emerging pattern... might it be of the 19 patients in 4 cancer targets that it should include 6 may have tumor regression and a further 6 may have disease stabilisation ... that is purely going off the very limited data so far speculation but that's ok on here :) ... if that were the RNS case .... phew

Ruck most of us think there should have been one on the Genmab deal... if it were not for Botskis fine recording of AGM we would not have heard anything much at all beyond RNSs oh and that one RG vid...The scientific minds bit was I think you get humour :)

Not sure what news you are missing sure many of us agree Lindy ought to have done a proactive vid by now but just possibly that is lined up for after next RNS

If I'm right and the early data we have from Modify is only from 6 patients 3 of whom in cohort 1 received low doses of 2 vimentins to test for safety and out of those 3 we have one patient (ovarian) with disease stabilisation then in Cohort 2 we have patient 1 of that cohort with significant tumor reduction (head and neck cancer) and another patient in that 3 person cohort with disease stabilisation then the stats pattern so far is promising enough for me to look at this sp as a keep biting off more crumbs crumbs....:) we'll see

I meant Modify trial not Covidity for TCRs ... pfft see how much that Dr Jean needs to take in !!! Scancell a tiny bio with a pipeline that could fill a phrama...... not like many of them need new techs to fill their current pipelines.... ohhh wait :) nice place to be at moment I think

Seriously though there are many potential news items from Board strengthing to deals on any of the platforms or individual products... of course, an initial early Modify update is expected soon as that was timelined for the end of last year ....and of course, that readout will get torn apart on here lol ... but that could prove interesting especially if the patient 1 experience looks not to be exceptional ...

ImmunoBody is now a much more deal attractive platform
AvidiMab de-risked through the validity of the Covidity trial... So ripe for a first deal
MaBs well we know GenMab are not alone in looking at those....
TCRs? the BioNTech collab is still on... and AGM had Lindy saying they were already using the Covidity trial to identify them potential deal there....

I believe there has been a research relationship between the Notts Uni team that developed the Glycan Mabs and then Avidimab for many years as I remember seeing it in one of the Glycan MaB key developer's CV..SeaGen was then called Seattle Genetics...I think there was another collaborator name too but forget anyways the point is :

'SEA-CD40 (Seagen) is in Phase II trials for advanced solid tumours. AvidiMab was used in the Fc region (Exhibit 5) in an IgG1 format, with key residues from murine IgG3 transferred into the human SEA-CD40 IgG1 Fc region. The results for iSEA-CD40 showed higher Fc-Fc self-association, slower off-rate and improved binding to CD40, and better functional affinity than original SEA-CD40. These findings of better performance were also seen in other immune models that rely on clustering and/or increased residence time for activity. Preclinical work continues to highlight the versatility and broad applicability of the AvidiMab platform, with sizable improvements seen across many applications.'

I'd say high on the list of doing an Avidimab deal now the platform has been somewhat de risked via Covidity trial

Yes, I think an sp of around 33p is about right for where scancell is at now... not a huge leap up to a quid then on positive modi 1 data and maybe some more Glycan Mab/ Avidimab deal/s :)))

Yet some here are trying to already get that potential future data via initial data from this small cohort proof-of-concept trial and their keyboards lol ..... ImmunoBody can be utilised to create viable vaccines for infectious disease and cancer targets that offer elements current mRNA ones can't plus its plug and play so it's not only about these current Covidity candidates vaxs its all about the target, in this case, Covid ... as new epitopes can be developed and plugged into the vax the main thing is the pharmajet delivers the load to successfully cause an antibody and T cell immune response against the target...

I suppose reading articles like this and knowing Astra are not alone in this boat shows it could well be a case of pharma cannot afford not to add platforms like ImmunoBody to their pipelines

As I say ImmunoBody is now looking like a low-risk deal for any interested partner... it safely delivers in an affordable and easy way

I agree Ivy though ImmunoBody is Scancells most clinically proven platform it does do what it set out to do... So although years of frustration with SCIB1 not getting anywhere deal-wise has made us weary in thinking this platform will ever get anywhere Scancell has made it much more attractive with the new delivery and of course, the whole scene has changed mRNA platforms are accepted and sought after which is no bad thing for DNA ones either ...You would think over all these years there have been serious conversations with pharma over ImmunoBody so now just maybe the doors of doing a real deal are open there... If not its almost like what more can Scancell do with it?

The MDA is bound to arrive Malawi can't afford not to issue it... yeah there are internal political issues going on there but you can see with foreign pressure they bend as they have with this anti-corruption minister case... plus Lindian Resources out there spending loads on their RE project- Malawi needs this for its economy

Probably if Covidity did get taken up though I think a pharma would want more than just current Covidity and probably the product would be tweaked It would be more about the taget of Covid than this current product ...remember ImmunoBody is plug and play its all about the epitopes multiple of which can be included in just one vax that is the beauty of it look what has been done to SCIB1+ ... Don't think there is an mRNA platform that can do that?

WF indeed that is the other part of this.... considering the tiny amount of funding scancell has ever had it has managed to get 3 products actually 4 if we include Avidimab into proof of concept trials no small thing that and would I am sure be attractive to any interested parties wanting to do deal/s

Avidimab being the dark horse of the Covidity trial we know the troubles with getting deal/s with ImmunoBody and great that major off-putting hurdles (delivery) have now been overcome ...AvidiMab though we have been told has already been getting outside interest so could this now be the green light for potential deals on that

I think Scancell were asked about CEPI and came out with that they need to see data or something....which isn't quite true of CEPI they take on techs even with minimal data .... I get the feeling LD is not keen on the CEPI route ,in the begining of the pandemic that may have been a good possibility but now I think it is better to do a deal on the whole platform with a pharma, if possible which I think with SCIB1 original data now Covidity and with pharmajet removing the delivery issue Avidimab coming into play... is a very possible outcome as this would not be a big gamble for a pharma its a proven effective platform and has benefits over mRNA competitors
