Was this the only RNS that Zakari was mentioned in? only I can't remember it being in any others it was a pi discovery that it existed to begin with, and now it makes an RNS to say it is no more lol... still with no context as to what it was ever for

The main thing is that yes modi 1 is working .... amazingly so? well in one patient at least so far yes.... but this is a trial this is very early stage data and fact one ovarian in low dose cohort 1 has shown a positive stabilising effect is fantastic news too ...means modi 1 is likely to work in multiple targets... and what do we know about scancell? they tweak their products! they improve them... and that is what this trial is all about finding the dosing that works the best and looking at ways to improve the results by improving the product.... the fact it is nontoxic not too expensive to make (though complicated meaning only team scancell have the know-how) and that is very simple to administer all come into play now.... excellent news and we look forwards to further more in-depth data from Covidity...... plus $6mill upfront for a Glycan target not bad I'd say I started off thinking maybe we got $10 mill but then cold showered that to maybe it was only $2 mill so $6 yeah that's not a bad benchmark is it... get a few more of those and then milestones and finances start to look a whole lot better...

Obviously could do loads of speculating on the reason for the dissolving of Zakari but one possibility is it was a kinda plan B for MaBs/Aviidimab... the most understood by pharma and so commercial -first deal on Glycan MaB target already .... and basically they were waiting on the Modify data and possibly Covidiry ... poor data spin-off the MaBs into a company that could far more easily raise funds from the market or indeed be a potential takeover.... good ModiFy data... keep everything together under Scancell

It's a pity we never got to the bottom of what was Zakari for ... it got forgotten about at AGM Q&A's ... then we may have more of a clue as to why it is now an idea past its time, it could even be something to do with RG and Chippers departing If it was one of their ideas, dunno... next week will be all illuminating and ..... would not want to be out of this for weekend :)))

On a its really working ! modi 1 ..... I think 3 years is nothing especially to ii like Redmile it will be more what the heck do we do with this to get the maximum return as this is the biggest thing we have ever been invested in :) .... doors will open

Chester going from what she said at AGM I think she would like multi partnerships on a succesful modi 1 as I said yesterday likely target by target deals (for modi 1 that is quite a lot of potential deals even beyond the 4 in trial)
And this to me makes sense as well it may well be one of these parners does eventual buy out the company.... or it may be none of them can afford it :) but what it does mean is scancell get to find partners they are happy with.... they get to know which partners work and which don't so much and do not get stuck with one bad partner

Buying scancell especially moditope is not like another takeover where you get a companies IP ... because without team Scancell science and Lindy in particular you ain't getting far .... this tech is novel only scancell understands it fully and can improve it too and add to it....

I like to think the plan and so far nothing says different is growth through partnerships... yes Vulpes/Redmile as us all will want their (BIG) payday outs... but those would come with the growth so long as products prove successful and Vulpes plans have had to adapt to Redmile being the main ii ... I think for Redmile they would want partnerships with big names and scancells profile to grow and then do the NASDAQ listing and then exit... like they did with BioNTech ... they were a little too soon in exiting there though :))

But at moment all hangs on data.... that'll seal the deals

I'd say suitors ...Lindy did say BioNTech was interested in modi 1 as monotherapy and that could conclude in a deal but she also said 'others'.... To me sounds like a lot of significant eyes are looking in and possibly have front-row seats I'd expect Genetech to be there too... Individual target deals with different pharma... sure!

I kind of go with this narrative too.... Modify is a multi-target trial and going to generate a dream of data for proving up or otherwise modi1 and the scientific concept of moditope I think they want the first Modify data RNS to be a solid one maybe giving hopefully positive data from all 4 targets plus there is the Checkpoints combo angle too... but we'll see

The limo symbolises no deal with Roche ...what we need is to see Lindy on the Claret then we will know :))

BTW the other thing with giving up too much or indeed all too soon is team Scancell science always improve their products SCIB+ with AvidiMab added the prime example .... modi 1 may well be fantastic as it is ( we hope so) but we all know Lindy and co will be looking at ways to tweak it even better... especially once data is in... modi 2 already going with a new adjuvant etc.... It will be important to what partners scancell attract along the way but surely if we get in moditope works... really works data scancell will be in the position to choose and I think we can trust in Lindy to choose right... for her babies childcare :)

Ahh yes Berm is right which makes sense as they are not that far down the commercial route yet... so $26 billion for GenMab

No inside info I just don't get the ... well I do get it people love a great pay day but really with the amount of potential at Scancell why beyond a quicker pay out would any investor including Vulpes / Redmile want that?.... The MaBs alone may see Scancell get a Genmab mcap..... moditope could be the most valuable oncology platform ever.... then there is all the potential of ImmunoBody and AvidiMab... nah partnerships is the way... along that way you get your $4billion mcap anyways ... if all goes to plan lol ... and scancell are not afraid to keep us waiting :)) they love it
