I assume resolution 9 gives the power to increase 2022 pay. Res. 8 ratifies 2021 pay. I do not agree with a pay rise for either year due to dire share performance. Can’t believe it is at £1.40. Joke. Lost a fortune here. For a very competent scientific company, their market management could not have been more incompetent in the 18 months I’ve been invested.

Share same boat. Same pain. ( I am on a 70% loss) . I fear being taken for granted and also for a ride. And I fear a whitewash at the AGM as they control it. The only pressure we have is votes and can send questions to be asked at AGM if not be present, so we should all darned well use them or we’ll likely be fleeced. IR is totally absent like we don’t exist.
This sort of behaviour seems to be the new norm. Shareholders are cannon fodder.
Science is science but people are people. Who feel. And who have paid for the company at £1:10p!
We deserve better.
Enough moaning now.
Be clinical and email IR or just the company re.AGM and vote no to Res3 payrise and Res 8 and 9 dilution and exclusion of shareholders.

Risky yes I am hurting of course. But so are others. I sm not a wealthy man. I chose to invest here initially in the Placing. I have been taken for a ride before and lost shirt off back and all my naivity. I was a reasonably wealthy man before that. So..I know how shareholders can be duped.
The 53p options were out of order. Twice as many shares at 25p as at 50p as just mentioned is scandalous. To allow nil communication to share owners who invested at £1:10p is just worthy of derision. Clearly I am sngry and justifiably as SO is out and we stand at 25p with no communication and asked to approve a pay rise. Gimme a break Duncan. I hope you have the intuitive judgment to read chatsites. You should. You can learn a lot.
You know how the market operates and should not be let off the hook. We are not all sitting with silver spoons in mouth (adapted analogy).
(I am in Ncyt. Similar. So poorly run re. shareholders that AGM was cancelled last year due to less than 20% quorate. Why? The form and proving holdings to a French firm is not allowed by stockbrokers and almost impossible to work out). Ignoring shareholders’ needs is today’s norm.
4D are as bad as it gets.
They need to be told this.
Yes we can hope for news, RNS, funding, but ultimately they are implicitly allowing this share price tomplummet. I don’tvthink they would ever admit that of course. But what do 2+2 make?
Reject Res3. And 8 and 9.
Shareholders can prostrate themselves and thing that 4D give a hoot and will look after them, or they can exert justifiable pressure.

My opinion. Which may be right, partially right or wrong.
1) Duncan cares not a hopt for pesky private shareholders who are an irritating necessary evil.
2) Why communicate to the bottom of the food chain. Ergo last 9 months.
3) BOD nicely rewarded with lovely free options. I’m ok no matter what.
4) Tap shareholders if you can as they have no choice .
5) Company comes first and there is no rush . Securing funding is not an imminent issue but I’m working at it. Shareholders are grumpy but I can handle it.
I am aware of what they think and how they feel. Our needs and the company come first.
6) We can ride this silly share price. Communication is risky for me.
7) I want a pay rise which I really don’t need, even if share price has collapsed and hholders are suffering
8) I am prepared for great tetchiness at the AGzm and will only take linmited selected questions-often the case at public meetings.

I would still strongly urge to reject Res. 3 allowing bumper payrise. Outrageous.

I am afraid that shareholders who trist too readily are those who are hung, drawn and quartered. We have rights but only if we exert them. We are being eaten alive by the market, shorters and the management.

Most people here are holders. And not autobots. It is deeply insensitive to rub peoples’ noses in it and he’s been doing it for months. That in itself is amoral and very very selfish. He os not interested in the well-being of potential investors. (There is an argument for buying when others are fearful).

Do not pay any attention to a supremely selfish shorter who only has himself in mind. No logi. No rationale. No intelligence in his comments. Placing. Rights Issue. Buyout.External funding.Short squeeze(?) More hypotheses on top. All a bit early. Only June. The market price might lead one to think something wasximminent. It isn’t. I personally do not see any ‘ event’ for a while. IMO the market is just milking doubt and uncertainty and punters’ shaking knees. It’s upsetting to see this price, and if I were a shorter I’d be piling in right now, but the nature of the stock market is uncertainty. Markets hate gross uncertainty and this is just being milked.
To me it is a case of seeing if we get proper treatment at the AGM, ‘cos it ain’t happened yet. We are cannon fodder. I have voted against the payrise ( Res. 3) as I think it’s taking the p***!! And 8 and 9 as I think we will be taken for a ride.

Real ****-take IMO. Poignant questions need to be put at the AGM. Gloves off. Full honesty. No sycophanting around.

Re. covid…Captain you are right. The govt. don’t care about number of cases( untested now) or deaths too. All they care about is the NHS being overwhelmed( and their own jobs tbh). Highly narcissistic govt. here in the UK. But same in many countries.
But the chances of a variant outbreak again in inter, plus flu, is very strong. We had it with Omicron and another lockdown was touch and go because of NHS. It all revolves around the NHS and frankly the govt. did a crap job supporting them but just cares about meltdown and their own reputation ( particularly chief clown Bozo….not even got the guts to resign!)
So Ncyt should absolutely not rely on covid testing and never ever rely on the government. But it is one string in their harp.

Many reasons. Ncyt are moving on but not wholly out. Because Omicron has created many variations already, there is still a need for govt. approve precise diagnoses.
Now is easy. Summer. But actually covid is rife. It is worse than ever to date, just untested!! Truth. Many ..yes many people I know have it right now, including my wife ( I’m waiting!). The winter will likely be another NHS mega-pressure especially with expected new variant Boosters are essential but the govt. is on a savings drive!! In addition the last booster had pronounced side-effects on some people( I had Pfizer and it gave me a permanent left ventricle problem). I am not a conspi******. So even if Ncyt are sidelining into instrumentation and a full spectrum of disease diagnosis, their income from covid may be much smaller but covid cannot be predicted. Ncytvis right to diversify, especially with an untrustworthy govt. bending rules and right to look internationally. But its covid assays ( incl. LFT!) are not dead yet. In the longer term, covid will play an increasingly smaller part in Ncyt . Global diagnostics are the way forward. But covid is still alive and kicking and Ncyt are licensed testers. Wait for this winter….again!!! :-(

My family is American and are very deep thinkers and write many books on social change and Psychotherapy.
I supprt your posts generally as they are very positive. I know many many deep thinkers as friends in the US.
If it is the presentation culture over there, then that is different . But no different from the average AIM ii presentation. Believe me, blinkered and simpliistic set of needs there.
