I strongly encourage shareholder voting -for all but short termies and shorters!.
I have voted and rejected Resolution 9 which allows potential 100% dilution ( as opposed to previous 40%). And shareholders not allowed to participate if so.!!!
Double -whammy, particularly after the 53p share option giveway which derided us.
I strongly believe that shareholders should not just roll over.I have been here before. And prevailed in fact on that occasion (Infrastrata).
I urge all others to have a good darned think .
Shareholders are easy meat. Any Placing would exclude us. And discounted offer would exclude us. And rejection might add pressure for an alternative. Hopefully it is all theory but in business all is fair ( in love and war) and red in tooth and claw.

Real price 32.8 -33.33 most of day. Hard to know if buys or sells. Mm’s hiked the price for 20 seconds middle of day themn crashed it. They do that to allow favoured clients to trade. Look like buys to me but to be honest, it’s a carrion short-term casino market and day trading rules. So who knows?
Nyct came out with good RNS today. Hiked 9% then ended up red. Mm’s don’t give a hoot about reality..just want trades at as low ( bid) or high( offer) a price as they can get. Casino unless you get to play their rules.

I agree about the thresholds for Oxford being met. But I still think we should make sure we shareholders are not the sacrificial lambs by voting resolution 9 down.

I will vote against Resolution 9 and would encourage others to do the same. We have been taken for granted too long and suffered enough already. I , for my part, will resist the opportunity for a 100% dilution and would stronglyburge others to do the same. It can be stopped, but only if people do this.
Shareholders have a voice, but are too often cannon fodder.

The lower the s/p and the longer it is low, the lower the 12 month high price will be ….if that is what a takeover will go for.
Or maybe Merck is jist leaving it and playing safe. They can afford to. It is not in their best interests to allow the s/p to rise.Not that they are complicit probably. In my opinion it is jist shoryers anfd mm’s wanting to acquire shares cheaply. Whoever it is, it is manipulated more than a mannequin.

I actually think Duncan did a great job as a salesman in his last interview. He was actually passionate about the products-a primary factor.
Fortune sometimes favours the brave-sometimes not. But with all the data and illnesses being tested for…for goodness sale.!Marie Curie..Pasteur..Fleming…Jenner….all new sciences.

I thought Duncan did a really good interview last time. Showed real interest in the products per se and was almost vibrant. I think IR is just poor, which is John Doyle’s job and he’s not doing it. Ultimately it belittles the value of the stock if they don’t reply to shareholders….so 2 unanswered emails is out of order.
Still a long time until Q4 funding peripd, so lots can happen here. Why get nervous on this? From the last interview, I can’t see D and A letting this company just dissolve…..especially after the surprisingly(!!) good data !!!

We have to also consider that some people just don’t do their jobs properly or that-very likely these days-private shareholders are an irrelevance, even an annoyance, to companies.
But I hope that is not the case here.

Shame if someone messages about selling out, but people can do what they want-prederably privately.

@Porky is not wrong to speak of a value disconnect. To understand markets fully takes decades for most decent investors and is constantly updating. Value and valuation are not simple model-based metrics. That is to misunderstand the whole concept of vslue. A model is like a horse looking through blinkers at the race-start. Value has many variables and measurements which are not wholly metric.If they were, the stock market would be for model-statisticians and mathematicians only.
IMO he deserves a little credit for being factual about news items whilst clarifying risk/reward.
Not necessarily you, but so many people are ready to find fault in posts and posters. People without shares in pwnership should, imo, not even bother visiting.

There is an argument for not publicising when you sell out. It’s like “et tu Brute”.
But I don’t believe that’s why you did it Buyhigh. I can’t know, but I believe you have been honest. Lot of people struggling here though. Many people don’t give a **** about how others feel and I think it is unfair to call you names. Your honesty cuts other holders though…hence the response.
You have the right to say what you want though. Other people ( leeches) are downright abusive. You are not.
Inpersonally believe you will not see 20p and with options where they are plus results to date, that a Placing will not happen. 3 months of Russia has taken its toll plus China covid plus inflation, so money has to be negotiated hard!!
Ultimately ….we’ll see. Who would’ve thought oil would go from $19 to $110 in 2 years.

Oldest strategy because it works.

Needle is being held wiith two hands firmly down.I could speculate many reasons . Sentiment bound to suffer- inc. my own. Best to just let it be and leave in my case, as I will not sell. There is no substantiated concrete reason why , and selling at this price?? One of the reasons why it is here…to shake unsure investors holding smaller amounts. Sure, the funding is an issue but it’s not imminent. Let it be.
