I have voted against Res 3 and 8.
Same reasons.
Why should they receive large remuneration when shareholders suffer and have prospective dilution.
50% needed to resist Res 3
Only 25% needed to resist Res 9
I encourage others.

Novacyt made same mistake. So much so that they didn’t rven get AGM quora 2021 and had to cancel AGM.They had sorely neglected shareholders. 4D is no different.

Sorry Hoping. It was nit-picking yes. My irritating foible I took a joke seriously. And missed a reference to the essence of the post. What I said was factually totally correct but boorishly nitpicking at humour.

Your real point re. communication-or horrific lack of it-is most salient.

Markets don’t slow down in the winter months. Nor companies. Quite the contrary. “ Sell in May, buy in September “ is the old adage. Companies and markets often wind down somewhat in the summer ( holiday season) and that is the slow down time-especially August. Winter is full-throttle for most companies….and “business hibernation” might mean out of business. It’s the opposite to nature where only some animals hibernate anyway!
The most a business or market will ever do is slow down and( unless hospitality-based) that’s a mid-summer thing.

This is typical pre-Placing behaviour, but a ridiculpus price to do one. Or a Rights Issue.
Better to bolster the share price with a stream of news .
Shareholders should not forget that we are only early June. In about 4 months, there would need to be some kind of news.
Funding problems are not imminent. Investor fretting and market vulture-behaviour are preying on the share-price.

Is it courage? I see games afoot. I am wary of a post-AGM Placing. I am disappointed in lack of shareholder-care for a very very long time, but not that surprised.
It is a kind of life-philosophy. I hate what the stock market has become( it wasn’t Macdonalds quick profit before) and deeply mistrust companies’ attitudes to shareholders. It comes down to risk profile re. life. We’re all gonna shuffle off , some very unexpectedly, so intelligent and not gung-ho risk is just my Weltanschauung.

I don’t think an update will come. That would be playing to the mm’s. It would be lnee-jerk. A proper funding statement would help but that will come when it comes. Certainly not before the AGM. Contentiosly and unpopularly, my opinion is that negotiations with Oxford may be hard going. Not undeserved but the macro sotuation-as mentioned in Res9- is very challenging.
I feel the 100% dilution option is not a leverage tool. I feel it is a potential. And the market are using it.
Yes, if shareholders are genuinely valued, they shpuld be shown this. Usually, however, they are not.

Fwiw, it seems that the info provided by the Leicester newspaper was a bit premature. They did indeed say he was stabbed by a sword in the back, but the story now seems to have changed to a stab in the backside.Headwounds without a helmet, yes. Curious.
My analogy-taken from 8 years ago-was essentially about meaning and courage-1485vs. Henry Tudor or 2022 vs. market manipulation.
Btw, if the market believes that shareholders will allow 100% dilution at the AGM voting, then it is hardly surprising that the price is being stabbed down.

That’s nott what isas is alluding to. He actually says MM’s are sitting on shares.
They are indeed known to do this where there is a clear buyer/seller or when the price is ridiculous like now. The surfeit of buyers today came from the surfeit of available shares.
When mm’s need shares to fulfil demand, they hike the price of course. All sorts of other games are played to get shares, and to create a market when it is stagnant.
Some very interesting articles written on market price manipulation ( since the Great Depression). Even Keynes writes about the games of market supply and demand.

I have taught Economics and Financial Studies to students who have gone to trade in the City. Ones I am in contact with let me know some stuff. The corruption and cosying up is how it all works. Favoured clients..almost wholly from institutions but not always. P/i’s are viewed as easy meat. Software is set but monitored.
All a massive daily money making machine unrelated to intrinsic value . Apart from certain bluue chips which have huge volume anyway and are hard to manipulate fully. Lots more. Won’t bore you.

I noticed all the hallmark mm clues this morning which convinced me they were aiming to bring this down.They have patters of behaviour and I was expecting 30-31p. Not sure what reasons are though. As Robins mooted, it’s all done behind closed doors and we are in the dark. P/i’s are always the last to know almost everything. Mm’s definitely wanted this down from the beginning today. It was clear.
