It's interesting, those that have an average near £3 that would accept £6 are considered traders and those that have an average of probably around £6 but would accept £12 are considered more long term..

The returns for both are exactly the same.

I don't know how many would lose money, I am not sure how many share are held that were purchased sub £6 on the way up and on the way down.
You might be right, but clearly people have been happy to sell all the way down well below £6 and even the slightest rise at the moment isn't sustained so I doubt it would take that much more than £6.

Either way an offer at that price would be great news and double the share price overnight even if it wasn't accepted.

I just think you would be surprised, many shareholders probably feel locked in, many also can probably get out even or at profit around £6.

Many have said they will sell on the way back up.

There are very little shares held by intuitions and no appetite from PI's to currently buy more.

Hence an offer that is more than double the current valuation might easily get through. 10 or even 50 regular posters saying they wouldn't accept it probably doesn't change that.

I think most shareholders would be happy with a TO at £6 and it would sail through a vote.

The market hates companies sitting on cash and certainly when current long term sizeable revenues are in doubt.

Time for the company to release news about the future and what it plans to do with cash.

The whole idea of this study it to be able to increase size of dosage and total number of doses because of its targeted nature.

Why would they start with dose that is less than what would be normally used.

"Mr Jones, terribly sorry to hear about your terminal cancer, there is trial you can take part in though, the thing is taken part in this trail will actually shorten the life you have left because we wont give as much chemo as we normally would in you were not in a trial. How does that sound, be a good sport old chap".

I don't agree with this at all.

The trial is being done on pancreatic cancer patients. Due to the typical very late diagnosis they don't have much time, the one year survival rate is only 20%, most have just a few months left.
So people wont want to getting a sub-therapeutic dose as it wont help them.
People in this position will be open to taking much greater risks!

Really good news, many big pharma eyes will be watching this very closely. Some of them might be tempted to jump in early and try and get their hands on the IP.

Volatility or volume just hasn’t been there really for traders, it’s been death by a 100 small cuts over the last few months.
PI’s selling up or releasing part of their holding as they need the cash for vacations.

Friday and into a Monday was an opportunity for some traders to come is as the drop was much more severe and it went below £3. Most having sold over past two days.

Just hope there is a stinking RNS before the business update or else what is the point.

A business update happened on another stock without material news and that didn’t go to well at all. Although you would think this is rock bottom here and anything below £3 will snapped up.

Not convinced people are making 3-4%, certainly not very often, impossible on a continuously falling share, to time that right, especially with enough money to make it worthwhile, get it wrong and you are locked in.

If they are though, why would they ever get bored of it.

Needs some decent news to change the sentiment, not sure why they don't RNS even some small new contracts or country they are now selling in to. Anything to stop the decline.

I think Al has been a bit out of order the way he was ramping the lft but here we are in mid August, and we have possibly sold one pallet load...!
If this company was just about lft’s or testing I would be fuming and stressing!

We all know though how much potential this company has, they don’t need to change what they or doing or buy anyone, just make a few quid from some lft sales and wait for one of the numerous other more core areas to take off!
Avacta has the potential to be absolutely huge, how many multiples you get just depends on how long you are prepared to wait.

Exactly, har Chris, there was absolutely no point last week you could have traded this and made money in a day, it was basically falling all week.

And if you tried, chances are you still wouldn’t be back in profit now.

Everything posted regarding the dispute is pure speculation, nobody has a clue. Could be resolved tomorrow or could still be going on for the next 12 months!

Just hope the company have some good news to report on current sales without gov.uk but also future plans after Covid. Then this might start to move up well even with the ongoing dispute.

If you don’t need the money(which you shouldn’t), then hopefully the waiting will be worth it from here and many will be able to recover some losses.

Been over £2 before and this is looking better. To be honest there is not much risk anyway as the company has so much to offer.

Momentum building this morning needs to really push on though so it isn’t traded away.

Who knows hey..

The only thing with the CEO going right in the middle of the dispute and at such a crucial time for the business it would suggest it’s not that cut and dry and he was pushed.

Or if he did walk then the guy was full of sh/t talking about aspirations of midcap status.

But I doubt he walked away from what probably would be another two huge years for his bonus.
