We might have a further rise this afternoon yet, something seems leaky..!

People are going to be kicking themselves for not taking this opportunity at this price!

People really need to stop this “short squeeze” business. The absolute minimum of percentage shares shorted would need to be 10% to get any sort of squeeze.
The short position is so small that they can get out easily within normal trading volumes.

If jupiter do exit though the share we be allowed to rise for more freely on lower volume days.

Onwards Avacta! Things will most likely look very different here in the next month or so!
Big returns to made in the short term, huge returns to be made in the long term!

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if the ones who have made a decent profit on Novacyt in the last week start moving money here.

The short, mid and longtime outlook for Avacta is huge!

Some good action this morning, time for this to start moving back up in big jumps.

It’s incredibly cheap, why start rushing to buy in a couple of months at £1.80 or £2 when you can buy in now at £1.10!

Never sold a single share here and have a huge investment, decided to push even more in today from a good return on another stock.

Unfortunately it doesn’t take more than a few good days and suddenly the price predictions go back to the total extreme, and the timescales it’s going to happen reduce from years to months and now weeks.

IMO this undoes all the great work done by many in highlighting the potential. It also gives the de-rampers lots of ammunition.

There is good money to be made even from this price probably in the very short term but people should have realistic expectations to avoid huge disappointments.

It the SP were to move up to some new highs then take that as a huge bonus.

Those retirement targets probably get hit by 1/1000, that is why there are so many people talking about potential life changing amounts far too late into their years, and normally mostly it's tales of woe.

Why not take it one step at a time instead of jumping back on the crazy prediction game. Getting over £4 will be a great start and already people talking about £20!

I am just happy to see the sentiment turning.

Anyone who makes a 100% return is definitely not a lemming!

They are very savy investors!

There are many people on here who would just be glad to break even.

I find people who are probably underwater deciding what is the right profit level for others completely ridiculous

Bighero bought in here yesterday and looks like it was a great move. This share has been on the watchlist for a while and I think I know when to time entries very well. Good luck all my novacyt family, not that you will need it as when Bighero invests big things happen. Excellent news. I expect my trading successes to continue here and a lot of my fan club will join the gang as well no doubt. Happy to be onboard.

Novacyt rose on the 16th, you claimed to have bought in yesterday, as you always do after any rise.
Yesterday for the 16th August was the 15th August which was a Sunday!

Yes I can confirm that bigzero claimed to been able to buy stock while the market was closed on Sunday.

His biggest and most audacious claim yet.

It’s a good point Karren, especially when they said 66% of shares held are in France.

The conservative approach to the valuation is the right one. IMO

The outlook makes me very confident for a serious rise in the SP but have to remember that replacing 50% of your revenue is much easier said than actually done.

Although if they manage in 2022 it will be easier in 2023 as it should only account for 25% of the total revenue by then.

It was as high as 2.60 still by the 11th June.

My point being for anyone under water it can tune around very quickly and new investors can also make a big return very quickly.

I posted this yesterday but I just wanted to remind people again!

On Feb 1st this share was at £1.26, on March 15th, only 45 days later it was at £2.75

120% in 45 days!

One of the biggest things that stood out to me is a target CAGR of only 5% - At that rate that is 14 years to double in size. For most business this would not be good and certainly not for investors. However given Novacyts explosive growth this should give some comfort.

The current very low valuation is based on the fact people expect revenues to reduce significantly, a 5% CAGR from this point is actually is very good and means the business should be valued much higher.

This CAGR would only become a real issue when the MCAP is much more reflective of the current and continued revenues.

To be fair ATS I dont think you can compare the cash flow of a 1 million business. That is a tiny business.
I have no idea what your staff costs were, no idea what your margins were and no idea what other fixed costs you had or how much you have to invest in buying or producing stock. But to give an example;

A one man business selling second hand high end luxury cars would have a turnover of way over 1 million on just a few cars. I am sure cash flow would also be a concern for them. Could this type of business be compared to Novacyt?

Also I doubt your business had access to the type or credit lines that are available to a 200 million mcap company

Novacyt will not be struggling for cash flow considering the margin and volume they sell.
