I don’t think you understand the affect PCR testing is having on business travel.

Most trips are typically 2-5 days, PCR makes it too much hassle.

I am not sure why anyone would try to deny the push towards LFT. To think the way things are done today will stay the same is naive.
A bit like blockbuster refusing to accept streaming.

Novacyt realise this themselves hence they have created products for it. With the already established distribution network they have they hopefully will do very well from it.

Novacyt are probably just as well positioned as any though to take a decent slice of this market, if they get the product CE marked.

Everyone can see mass testing will move to LFT, unless you are blinkered. Is like streaming vs DVD rental!
PCR will always have its place in hospitals though.

The question is will Avacta be able to take advantage.
I am betting on the fact after being a very slow starter in this race and already missing a huge opportunity they will sell more than enough to finance the real core focus of the business which is biotech IP licensing.

And just perhaps they might sell more than is currently expected of the LFT and it causes a serious re-rate on its own.

Don’t know quite how much this will recover in SP or what it will do in the future but it has to be one of the safest shares on AIM regarding a cash call for at least the next 2 years.

I don't think there is anyone de-ramping, totally agree if you are not positive about your investments future then no point leaving it there.

Totally agree about faith, if people want it/need it, find useful as a source for good.

When you say oversold do you mean the shares are shorted? No short trackers are showing this though.
All they would have to do is raise the SP by 5-10% and that would encourage a lot of selling and they would have the volume they need to anyway if they really needed to buy back.

I think your idea of city big money and their idea is probably very different. I genuinely just think there is little interest at all out there.
Many Pi's are so focussed on one stock they think the City is just interested, the chances are they probably are not.

That is kind of chicken and egg the price is low because of the low volumes.

Nobody can manipulate the volume and if someone wanted to buy they would just come in with an offer or start buying shares in volume but unfortunately there has been no Tr1.
