No chance, a company where 95% of it's revenue comes from Covid is not going to use it's cash to buy back shares unless it's part of some M&A or incentive.

It needs the cash for diversification.

The share is on the floor, it isn’t going to go materially lower at all.

Just to add some balance, there is no guarantee at all on the share buy back and also any time scale for it. Although perhaps them keeping the share price low does suit the buy back.

If I am posting I only ever want shares to go up, I don’t post if I am not invested. Holding a lot, average of £3.83

A down shock to the share price certainly doesn’t suit me but the board have to remember who they work for.

It's a fair point Bluelight, but it's kind of binary, if they get it all through then any no votes makes no difference to them.

Some short term pain on the SP by a huge no vote so they are not passed, which is effectively a vote of no confidence in the board, might make a longer term difference to the SP.

I suppose how you vote might depend on your average price.

All that is needed for the SP to increase significantly, is some patience!

Wilson, I am not sure if you are aware of this, given your post, but there is no weighting system for how long you have held your shares.
So every single share holder is completely entitled to vote how they feel, irrespective of how long they have held shares!

However, not sure a vote of no confidence in the board is the best way to increase the SP.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting LFT’s will completely replace PCR but for travel in the most part it most likely will.

You can currently fly to most of Europe without any test at all, just proof of vaccine.

The good thing for the future of Novacyt is that the number of tests they are selling seems to have no correlation to the SP.
A fraction of current revenues (if proved sustainable) would justify the current SP.

Currently you can have a PCR test in the UK, fly to any green or amber country and as long as you return to the UK in three days the test you did before can be used as your return test.

Yes you also have to have a day 2 test but that has absolutely no impact on stopping you bringing a new variant in.

Current system is madness and will most definitely change. Trying to deny that it is even more madness!
