I should have been able to answer this straightaway but always good to remind oneself of the investment case even when the clue is in the ticker EAAS. EAAS is contracted to invest in energy saving solutions for which cover the initial capital outlay and are repaid from future savings. The "missing" cash will have been invested in those contracts so will be returned over the next five or so years.

The ideal solution for cash-strapped public services who save on costs without any capital outlay. And EAAS retain an untapped £40m facility with Natwest for future investment so are not short of capital.

Northern, I think you've got the balance right. The information is out there and the recent RNS reported both the power outage and the solution of that problem. I've heard Leon negatively respond to questions about more regular shareholder information saying this wasn't good for JLP and I think he is right. We need management focusing on the operations and the risk rather than having to give weekly updates to frustrated shareholders.

The message is simple - SP is cheap so PIs should hold or top up on dips. If you're like me you'll take a little profit as the price rises but can sit out the dips.

It was only a few weeks ago that we were bemoaning the market reaction to positive news for GSK.

As for the impact of cheaper AI, my initial thoughts are that this will expand the field and bring in lots of smaller entrants. Plenty of these will be in medical applications which may be a double-edged sword for the likes of GSK - lower development costs reducing entry barriers - but there are plenty of positives for the sector as a whole.

Don't know about the rest of you but I took today as a nice opportunity to top up again. I even managed to make a capital gain courtesy of the 30-day bed-and-breakfast rule.
