RE: Investor Meeting15 Jan 2025 20:20
The chemistry side of things they have fully under control which is what you want from a mining company, and they have a strong grasp of many aspects of business but the one I feel they are still to demonstrate is the corporate finance aspect. This "gap" may just be in the presentation rather than the underlying reality, but it counts when it comes to persuading the markets to invest.
The unanswered questions - for which they gave perfectly understandable explanations - were the latest cash position of the company and the latest valuation reports. Both of these, as is the position of the CEO, are contingent on the ASX listing which now looks to be late January due to summer holidays in Australia - how this wasn't apparent late last year is a question I will just leave there.
But we can expect a slew of disclosures in the coming weeks, the most notable of which will be the PFS by end January (to include the latest resource update on Laguna Verde). This is key to unlocking more serious engagement with strategic investors which will evolve over the course of the CEOL evaluation (present->Q3 25).
