LochinvarLass, current sp risk depends on your time scale, but I have the likes of VOD and ITV which are ending up very very long term investments and I don't want DEC to stay this low, or go lower, for many years so that the risk is greater that it may never recover !!

LochinvarLass, You need to fill in the W8-BEN, if you're not a US Person and don't have US employment or self-employed income and some other conditions, to receive dividends with only 15% WHT deducted (otherwise 30% deducted) and to trade US stocks. I'm with ii and completed and uploaded it electronically, very fast to do. You can probably (I don't know your tax residence) apply the US 15% WHT as a credit / deduction against your income tax.

Charley151107, I would take these broker and investment bank price targets as casual possibilities as at the time they are announced. They are generated from Models that are only as accurate as their assumptions and information therein. There are so many variables involved in the Market, especially nowadays with Wars going on and uncertainties re Inflation and Interest Rate Cuts, etc..., that no-one can predict anything with real certainty. View them as a general guide maybe !! I see that another analyst has just given Rolls Royce a target of 240p and Sell recommendation !! One can only wonder how two different so-called 'professionals' arrive at such different Ratings !!

HappyRob, the intelligent thing would be for LSAI files to be linked to SORT as it is a Reverse Takeover and the continuation of LSAI as part of SORT. Maybe too challenging for LSE.CO.UK though !! Where shares have gone bust, their record should remain there for at least a month with a very visible notice summarising the status. Effective communication seems too much for them amidst all their annoying Ads all of which I find totally irrelevant !!

of course, results from ba. could change things tomorrow, barclays say it could be the catalyst to send the sp much higher. their optimistic target is 1500p !!
