Desertjoe, you need to get yourself over the pond to the wonderful countryside of Lancashire when we get to celebrate the success story of AAU in a few years time. I'm quite partial to the odd tipple and we have a great brewery in Clitheroe with some great ales. John and LoB i'm sure will be up for it and we can talk cars and football...no Brexit (we'll still be in anyway). Take a look at the list, I like the Boxer Blonde personally.

Great 3 points on Saturday, enjoyed the weekend and did go and see my mother and father as I am lucky enough to have both, even though dad is nearly 91 and suffering with dementia. I won't discuss Brexit, but interested to hear from anyone who went to the Investor show. If Turkish economy suffers and our shares slide back a little then it may be a good time for another top up, but don't think we'll see 2p now before Easter, but with Salinbas drilling due to start in May and the loan being paid down by end of 2019 its going to get very interesting over next 12 months.
Come on now don't get me started. Off to watch the Clarets now. We need 3 points. Nice RNS yesterday.
Wasn't very good John, tough run in so not very confident at the moment. Thats it for now. Just seen your posts on Hurricane as I'm still watching events unfold there. Thats all for now, back to AAU topics. POG just back up over $1300 this morning.
Great post DesertJoe, nice little read on a Friday morning. Cannot disagree with your comments regarding the share price and I think one or two are getting a bit carried away. I've only had my AAU shares a few years, and am not expecting to retire from the proceeds but looking forward to what they do actually find at Salimbas.
Don't want to get bogged down in the Brexit scenario but I voted to leave and i was the only one who did so in the office of over 30 people, so as you can imagine we've had some heated discussions. In the end I do think we have now lost the Brexit that I preferred, so it will be a very very soft Brexit or no Brexit at all, and at the end of the process our politicians have mostly acted disgracefully to leave us where we are now. I probably will never vote again because of this, so maybe I'll leave my comments to football and cars...and AAU of course. Happy Friday folks.
Well done Dibs61 as you said, spot on. I think VanVan has been on the sauce with his fag packet predictions. If this gets to 5p in 3 years then I'll be a happy man, if its gets to 21p I'll probably go and buy the new Honda Civic Type R and have a bit of fun. Sorry John, I'm sure you said you followed Villa, anyway its good you look for the Burnley results. When we meet up after we've been taken out for 21p (ha ha) I'll bring you a Burnley scarf. Good luck all.
Definitely 2 of us on here won't be happy this morning, but I think a certain Aston Villa fan might be, eh John. So decided to have top up my shares this morning to keep me happy. Just waiting for some news now.
John, Do you still have shares in HUR, I'm sure I remember you mentioning that sometime ago. Just wondered as I may be dipping my toes into the North Sea.
I also looked, couldn't find him...definitely an age thing.
Great honour for him John, I was very young when Banks was playing for England but from all the footage I've seen and heard he was probably one of the best keepers ever, and we have 3 good ones at Burnley, not that its helping much at the moment.
LoB, Will wait till nearer 4.30 just in case it wobbles even more, but I doubt it will happen. Don't like buying too much above my average but I suppose I will be keeping these for a couple of years or more yet.
Dibs61, Its funny how so many people who aren't from Burnley/Lancashire area do like us, but there's also plenty who dont. I hope we're too good to go down but nothing is certain. Its still in our hands so lets see what we can do at Anfield next Sunday. Not nice to have a price drop but I am going to top up today.
John, you said you were not buying any more!!!!
Well done Dibs61. Completely took us apart in 2nd half. Canny old goat is Roy Hodgson. Back near bottom for us again. Will catch up on AAU stuff next week. Welcome back Desertjoe.
Hi Dibs, hopefully it will be a tough landing for your Eagles, we need to make amends after the Newcastle result.
Pretty quiet around here at the moment, not heard from Desertjoe for a while, hope everything is ok over the pond.
Yes, great result John. Salimbas does concern me also. Why would Elderado give it away if its as good as everyone is saying. Still happy though with POG rising and AAU hitting their targets so had another top up on Friday.
Hopefully this will go up early this morning and drop back later so I can buy some more...hopefully.
Spurs at home tomorrow. Come on you Clarets.
Back in the office today after a half term break and we're still at 2p, quite impressed. Results will hopefully be good, SP will rise for the day, then hopefully fall back just a little so I can buy some more. Nice to see the POG doing well also.
Happy days!!
Great RNS this morning. Directors know exactly whats going on and they've been buying stock. On the back of a superb Clarets win at Brighton on Saturday this has been a nice start to the week.
DJ
No not offered the Spider over here, looks exactly same as the MX5 anyway. Pick up trucks are no good over here, far too much traffic on very small roads, probably wouldn't fit on my driveway. If we had fuel prices similar to yours I may be interested in bigger cars as I do high mileage, thats why I currently drive a Honda Civic diesel . The Camaro looks fantastic, when I hit the lottery or pick a share that does well I'll rent one and me and the mrs can do the route 66 road trip. If only!! Nice to see a little rise in our SP this morning
Cheers John. I do like the fixed headlamp version. Don't think hers will be an appreciating classic. She will never have the top down as we only get 2 sunny days a year in the frozen north, and after a couple of years bending down trying to get in she will probably ask for something larger. Where's our gold price predictor chap gone, $3000, $4000 ha ha.I'll take $1350.
