Busy day yesterday so didn't see what happened to SP until today. I have to say the conf call was a complete disaster, but Kerim's latest interview with Proactive Investor was very good. SP drop was probably because some PI's sold up straight after the conference call and all the chatter on the BB's obviously added to the all round misery. I've listened several times to the latest couple of Kerim's interviews and I don't think we're going to see Tavsan go into production for a few years yet, rather than a couple, but obviously very busy behind the scenes. Got to say a big thanks to Ash for his financial input, and I noticed the working capital (approx £7m) has now been mentioned in Kerim's latest interview, so in theory we're not debt free by April. Maybe if we can wait long enough this may turn out to be a great investment, but I don't believe we'll hit 3p by end of this year and I may be retired before we see Tavsan/Salimbas into fruition, but I do hope I'm wrong.

Yes they look fantastic, and looked after should hold their price. As I said earlier my choice would be the 911, not sure my son would approve, he would say its a mid to late life crisis. I doubt it will happen for me anyway, but nice to dream about whilst its so quiet on here. Not sure its a hairdresser's car VanVan, thats more the series 1 BMW and Audi TT. Yes I want one.

Sounds very nice John. Is that the 2.9 litre version or the 3.4. I suppose both are great engines. I would have to garage mine as obviously couldn't use on the work commute. Not sure that AAU getting into gear would be enough to buy a new Porsche, unless you're thinking a few years ahead. Maybe a new Honda though?

Yes, good to see. Added a few more shares today, not too many but every little helps as they say. Great result for the Clarets on Saturday so I'm a happy bunny. Even got the grass cut. Easy for you DesertJoe, you don't have to cut the cacti. 27 degrees up here on Saturday. Not bad for late September. Lets hope we get some good results this week. Been very quiet on here recently, maybe time to discuss cars. If I win the Euro lottery tomorrow going to buy a Porsche 911 GTS4, slightly better than my Honda Civic.

Very quiet on here at the moment, we're all waiting for news as usual, maybe next week. At least its almost weekend and the sun is shining, so I suggest we get the lawns cut, then sit down and have a cold beer. Mighty Clarets at home this week to Norwich, so I'll be on Turf Moor (along with other Ariana holders) hoping for 3 points. Have a great weekend everyone.

Nice to see the gold price rising but not our AAU share price. Just back from hols, looked at my portfolio and wished I was back in Crete. SXX has took a battering and AAU not done too well either. I think I'll turn off the laptop for a couple of years and see what happens. At least its the return of the footie season on Saturday. Up the Clarets!!

Hi John, its been pretty quiet for our share recently, maybe as you said Salinbas update was a bit of a non event. I noticed your 2 lots of 500k buys appeared this morning on LSE, so good on you for keeping the faith. I also dipped my toe in the water but for fewer shares than you. Not going to look for a while now, busy basking in the glory of our cricket team, football season is only a few weeks away and my annual trip to find sunshine is almost upon me.

I'm going to dip my toe in the water again and buy a few more today. I quite like the fact that the SP moves very slowly in either direction and doesn't scare me to death unlike some shares on AIM I've been involved with. I've had no aircon for 2 years in my Honda Civic, think its time I got mine regassed, then again up here in the north it never gets that warm. Have a lovely day everyone

Good idea John, sometimes better to talk about cars rather than getting wrapped up in this share, as its a slow mover...normally. Back to football in August, but I will be cheering the girls on against the USA tonight, sorry DesertJoe!!!

Not sold any yet, and hopefully get an update very soon re-Salinbas, that's when I might take a few off the table. But there again I may buy some more. Not easy getting this just right is it? POG going up, Debt paid off next April, but there's that nagging little noise in my head saying don't be greedy. Quite happy with my caravan in Yorkshire Dales and buying Yachting Monthly to have a sneaky peak at what I could have had. GLA.

Thanks for your thoughts. It was my Dad, yes I loved him and yes I miss him every day. Now lets get back to the business of this Share price. Get back in when you can and keep hold of them this time.

0.0250 to buy now. Who'd of thought it possible? Maybe time to stick my hands down the settee for some spare cash.

Price of gold having an impact, but also maybe some folk have an idea what they've found with the early drilling results at Salinbas.

With the POG approaching $1350 its all looking good, but do worry about AAU which is a very small fish in this large lake of predators. I'm hoping this keeps ticking along quietly but somehow think we'll be taken out before the SP gets the chance to make us all wealthy. Dr Senner is obviously very good at getting gold out of the ground at a decent price but with Salimbas 10 years away I'm not sure we'll get to reap the rewards. Its usually the institutions that get the large prize and not the PI's. Sorry I feel this way, maybe its the never ending rain up here in the frozen north.

Never easy to get to London for meetings although would be good to meet some more shareholders.
Not posted much recently due to bereavement but good to see share price been doing ok. Lots of moving tributes from the 75th D-Day anniversary, as you say John we are very very lucky to lead our comfortable lives we have today.
Off topic, another important day today, Premier League fixtures are out, so looks like I'll be in London on 7th December to see the revamped White Hart Lane.

Interesting times coming up at Salinbas. Nice to see SP rise.
