You may be right John, KS is very conservative with his gold figures, but not so good with his mine building timings. I won't hold my breath that the mine will be finished in 5 years, never mind 3. I wanted big news news on Salinbas, but obviously now all efforts are going to be on Zimbabwe, and that's another issue for me, as I still think this country is a massive risk. Looking at the SP today, my date for 3p on the ADVFN site looks promising.
Once again, left feeling like KS has't done any favours to the SP with the news this morning. Why is it with KS that every RNS seems to ask more questions than give us answers. When it comes to timelines AAU aren't very consistent, and are instead consistently late, so take the 3 years with a pinch of salt. I like the idea of not having all their eggs in one basket and diversifying from Turkey, but not to Zimbabwe, and surely it would have made sense to get Tavsan up and running first. All in all, not very happy, and looking at the SP, not too many people are.
We didn't get any news John, but it looks like a bit of buying now. They are obviously working towards the revised resource at Tavsan. Maybe its going to be good news, especially with P of G as it is currently.
And another day of selling. Something tells me nobody seems very interested here.
Not for long I don't think. Some chunky sells coming through now.
Well done Van with your 2p guess. Back to under 2p now I see. I'm quietly confident of winning the 3p bet on the other site. There's not a chance of 3p for a while yet. The CEO at Panther thinks price of gold is going to go up, well he would wouldn't he, as he's the CEO, he's not going to say its going to go down. Jeez, you couldn't make it up, the stuff people want to believe.
3 points for the Clarets this weekend, as well so not too shabby at all.
Hi John,
I've still not warmed to Zimbabwe, but wouldn't mind being proved wrong. As far as having a larger shareholding in the Dokwe project, maybe KS knows it will take a while and he's hoping that the Asgard Metals fund helps to create more wealth as it has done in the past. I know you're not a fan of the joint venture but maybe without them we couldn't have done the huge amount of drilling. There's a lot on the other board with very large rose tinted glasses who keep saying it will fly one day, but we will know man will have landed on Mars before then.
Off topic I like the car chat, I've owned a few MGs in the past, loved them at the time. Pointless talking footie, were down now I think.
Hi John, as you know I've gone for 3p next year, but would like Tavsan news to get us a bit higher than we currently are. Yes, I will probably sell some/all around 3p or a tad higher. I didn't want to get involved in Zimbabwe as there's lots of issues there, but its done now so lets wait and see what happens. Salinbas was the one for me, lord knows how many drill holes they must have done there now. Maybe we get some news this year ??
Am I allowed to change my 3p date now, or am I disqualifed ?
And there you have it. 2p reached. Who won ?
Hi LoB,
I was in London this weekend for family occasion so didn't see the game till I got home on MOTD 2. Couldn't believe it when we were 2-0 up, but obviously didn't last, and it had to be Ings of course.
Back to SP, not been a bad couple of weeks, but still a long way from where we were, and to add to the misery John has asked for me to be disqualified from the 3p guessing game on other site due to my guess being 2025 and there was me thinking he was one of us as an honorary Claret.
Strangerstill, I admire you're positivity and the research you do regarding AAU, but the bottom line is still that this has turned into a dog of a share, and unless they tell me they have found a motherload of gold at Salinbas, I for one will be out of this as soon as I can. The positive news and general good feeling has all but disappeared and looks like not coming back for a long long time. Even the footie banter has gone. My team are leaving the premier league without a wimper, perhaps its the same with AAU.
love a good game john. the one on the other site is hilarious. all those hoping for sp getting to 3p this year are just wishful thinking. as far going above 2p for 3 consecutive days i'll go for 12th september, as i'm sure tavsan will be later than they say, although i do want this to succeed its going to take a long long time. another good game would be how many goals will ****nal score at turf moor on saturday. my guess is 4.
Nice to see some chat on here. Been very quiet for a while. Whilst I hope to see the Tavsan mine completed some time in 2024, I'm really not happy about the Salinbas situation. This was more important to me because of its position near to the Hot Maden gold find. Year after year timescales slip away, and it now seems the board are not all all bothered about this, so I've recently sold some shares and will sell everything once Tavsan does come online as I'm not sure this share will every get above 3p. Its been a tough time since the days of 6p, and I'm still kicking myself for not getting out then. All the guys on ADVFN saying SP of 5, 6, and 7p, there's not a chance in the next 5 years, and I think it will fall further before Tavsan starts up unless we get some stonking news. Yes, I'm sad and angry at the same time, but hey ho, nobody forced me to buy these did they.
Hi LoB, and seasons greetings to you also, and all the other regulars on here, although its very quiet these days. I'm hoping 2024 is a better year for AAU with the opening of Tavsan. Back to the important issue of football, Fulham away on Saturday and Liverpool on Boxing day brings the curtain down on a very mixed year for AAU's favourite team.
8% up first thing today. Ends red. You couldn't make it up.
You're not surprised are you John.
john, lob, i have to agree with john on the salinbas mine. there may be a hell of a lot of gold down there, but nothing will happen for the next 10 years, unless they manage to sell it and let someone else get it out. over the last 3 years we've just gone backwards in regards to the sp, and i can't see that changing much even with tavsan on board. look at the comments on the advfn site, i'm sure they all wear rose tinted spectacles. did you see their year end sp forecasts, laughable. i predicted 2.25p, and looks like i'm too high. i want to hang around a little longer and hope that tavsan gives us that little boost, but after that i think i'll be off.
lob, i'll be in my longside seat in feb for ****nal match, so maybe catch up for a guinness, followed by bene & hot
hi lob, what on earth were you doing sitting with the ****nal fans at the emirates. its not been what we were expecting so far, and doesn't help with the lyle foster news, but he's health is more important than playing football.
i've been disappointed with aau and watching burnley also means its all doom and gloom at the moment. i'm hoping for some news on tavsan early 2024 and it may help the sp a little, but it won't be a huge lift.
I've been hanging on in here for years thinking that Salinbas would be the key to success. Looks like that was my big mistake. They are now getting involved in places I don't want to be invested in, yet still no news from Salinbas, so I have a decision to make now, and its not am I going to the West Ham game on 25th November....anyone want a few million shares ?
