I've been hanging on in here for years thinking that Salinbas would be the key to success. Looks like that was my big mistake. They are now getting involved in places I don't want to be invested in, yet still no news from Salinbas, so I have a decision to make now, and its not am I going to the West Ham game on 25th November....anyone want a few million shares ?
Wow, that hurts. Only been away for a few days and comeback to this. I knew Tavsan issue was a bad sign, but looks worse than I originally thought. I thought 2p would be the absolute bottom, now not too sure. No new investment, Apliki looks like a non starter, so can't see where any good news comes from. Its been a shambles since the joint venture with Ozaltin, and certainly can't see much improvement in foreseeable future. Done for now, roll on footie season. Up the Clarets.
Cheers John. Yes had a few and enjoyed the moment, especially winning at Blackburn. Just need AAU to perform a bit better now.
So long DJ, hope all works out well for you. You'll be able to watch little old Burnley in the Premier League next season.
The lunatics have taken over the asylum on the other site.
Well well, Monday didn't go too well did it. Burnley only managed a draw at the weekend and I've enjoyed hiking in the Langdale Pikes area of Lake District and come back to this. No surprise really after the 4pm RNS on Friday. I've seen the Proactive interview, he needed to get that out quickly, but only certain questions could be asked...obviously.
I'm not going to add any more, but just sit on my hands and see what happens through 2023, but feel price will drift downwards unless Tavsan gets a positive result from their appeal. As for the Q &A on 15th March, I don't expect to get any answers from that, as they simply bat away stuff they don't like. I'm not happy about all this, but after 7 years I'm used to delays with this share. Maybe when the SP recovers Burnley will be back in the premier league, which will put the smile back on my face again.
Todays last minute RNS isn't what the shareholders wanted to hear. I think we can expect another drop in the SP as more frustrated holders look for the exit doors.
Hi DJ,
Not sure whats going on but I noticed an email from LoB yesterday, but next time I looked it was gone, just wanted a footie catch up with him, as nothing good to say about AAU at the moment. Bad day yesterday, certainly changed on here.
That's AAU to a T Joe, you can bet after good news that someone always start selling, so SP drifts back down. Its gonna take some really big news to get this thing moving. Maybe it'll be Salinbas that does the trick, but with all the drilling its going to be months from any further news.
Not sure KS wants the SP to rise quickly. he's in control and thats what he likes best.
Don't want the US $ up, planning to got to big apple later in the year. Sorry, just being selfish!!
Still here also John. Tend to look more at ADVFN as this is so quiet. I also filtered one or two. Hopefully Burnley back in the premier league next season will generate more interest. LoB, did you have a 60th birthday balloon on your table at the Coventry match?
Hi John, Might as well have some footie chat with LoB, as there's not too much happening with AAU at the moment. Lets hope this year or more than likely next year things do improve, Apliki and Tavsan spring to mind.
I know it well. Really popular in its time.
I hope you have a great day out on Saturday LoB. The corporate boxes at Burnley are really good these days. My youngest daughter will be working there on Saturday, as she works for Burnley FC whilst studying. Alan Pace and his fellow directors have done a great job with the club so far. For myself, I'll be at the Miners Working Mens club having a couple of pints of Guinness for about £3 per pint. Hope we get the 3 points.
Not a chance on dividends this year, just hope we get finance for Tavsan this year.
Glad to see your getting a season ticket for your team, I'm hoping my season ticket renewal is for the Premier League in 2023, but don't want to be over confident just yet.
LOB, are you coming to Coventry game this weekend?
I hope so Deano, would like 3 points but who knows.
Anyway all the best for 2023, thats me done now till then.
Hi LoB, good season for the Clarets so far, doing better than AAU thats for sure. I'll be there tomorrow, in the freezing cold hoping for another 3 points towards getting us back to the Premier League. Glad to see you purchased a few more. I'm waiting a bit longer as I think the drop could continue a bit longer. Not been the best year for AAU, but not been good year for a lot of my shares.
Not had mine yet
3rd October
LoB, Don't mention timescales, at this rate my children will have retired before Venus IPO appears, and lets not mention Tavsan and Salinbas.
With regards to the footie, I'm quite impressed with big VK at Burnley up to now. Certainly nice football being played. Tonight could be a tricky test.
I've mentioned this before on the ADVFN board that there was a guy who posted on here years ago who had knowledge of the Salinbas region and said it would be a massive project to create a mine there due to the landscape. Looking at how long its taking to get Tavsan into production, I can't see much chance of Salinbas being ready for 10 years. Its a long time and I was hoping for a SP increase due to Venue IPO would keep me interested, but that's probably not going to happen this year now. So SP may drop even further as people are getting bored and frustrated with the misleading timescales coming from KS. I'm hanging on for now but for how long??
