RE: IFC Funding Decision - Longspur Clean Energy Reaction31 Oct 2025 09:56
I honestly can't get my head around how this company is being valued by the market.
The market cap is currently lower than it was 1-2 years ago and yet we have a definitive offtake agreement, a signed EPC contract, and multiple leading international institutions formally on board for both debt and equity. Yes, there are still funding gaps that need to be closed, but everything is essentially nailed on.
To do some maths, ATOME's free carry is valued at $60m (£45.5m), which is 40% higher than ATOME's current market cap. There is then also ATOME Power, Yguazu, and Costa Rica at play. At a minimum, this should be sat at around 85-90p today, and once FID is announced, it should jump into the £1.50-2 territory.
Hopefully it's not too much longer before the big market players realise how undervalued this is and the money start snowballing in.
