The curation connect profile on ATOME contain a ‘bear case’ summary for investment and it says, quote, “ Despite new backing secured, more funding will be needed, which could dilute shareholders”.

Everytime I post about this being a reality a few people on this forum just respond with ‘this would be suicide and ridiculous’. But it is in black and white. MORE FUNDING WILL BE REQUIRED.

Why else would it say that?

No one can disagree with this RNS being poor and it’s not insatiable to be frustrated with very unclear wording and guidance on a company that promised FID 18 months ago and still hasn’t delivered it.

This RNS is either unintentionally poor and it’s

a result of sloppy work, or it’s intentionally avoided talking about EOY FID and shovels in the ground because that goalpost has changed yet again.

Either way, the markets clearly hates it as we’re nearly at 09.30 and the SP hasn’t even budged to reverse the losses seen over the last few weeks.

I really don’t think the market is going to respond to this shambles of an update …

I totally agree Lord. No reference to timelines, still no details on equity club, no longer mentioning EIB and FMO.

They need to sack everyone involved in investor relations. They are absolutely useless

The global markets are taking a battering this week due to the AI bubble bursting. I'm not sure that implies a raise - though it doesn't rule it out.

All the more reason why ATOME need to make the IDB Invest announce and hurry up announcing the equity club. This needs to buck the trend otherwise the gains we do eventually get will still leave us well short of fair value.

I'm not actually too opposed to that, Kennedy, if it means that institutional investors pump this into the £1+ territory. I'm happy to wait a bit longer for that.

I do, however, massively share your frustrations and disappointment around the quality of ATOME's IR and comms. They really have been shoddy this year.

For the record, I don't disagree with the view that raising equity at this SP level would be a ludicrous decision. I am wholly opposed to it, but I have consistently raised it as a risk here because I think it is one we all need to be aware of and informed about.

I asked Olivier the specific question on that recent Curation Connect webcast a few weeks ago whether ATOME would look to participate in the equity club themselves (over and above their 20% free carry) and he did not rule it out. I believe he said something to the effect of 'we will make a decision based on the circumstances at the time'.

I really hope they share our view and realise that fundraising tens of millions of pounds at this SP level - when their market cap is barely breaching £30m - would be crushing for retail investors who have supported and stuck by the company during these constant delays.

The next few days will give us our answer, I suspect.

I am getting incredibly nervous that they're working on something behind the scenes and are about to shaft us retail investors who have helped them through this journey by announcing a large equity raise to take a bigger portion of the equity club. I really hope I'm wrong

It may be that they need IDB Invest to formally confirm to them in writing before they allowed to provide an update to the market. In all honesty, I'm not that disappointed we don't have an RNS today because this is a BIG de-risking event and the market reactions on Fridays tend to be very subdued, so there is always a risk that the development gets missed and the SP doesn't get justice.

If we don't get an RNS on Monday I'll be raging!

I haven’t Kennedy, however this exact thing happened last time with IDB Invest and there was just silence from them.

I can’t understand what would take them so long to announce a simple Board approval. You don’t need 2 working days to make that happen.

The investor relations around this company is becoming woeful.

I seriously can’t deal with more delays to this project. What on earth are IDB Invest playing at?! They have had MONTHS to take this to Board. I’m going to be seriously unimpressed if they’ve delayed the Board date yet again.

Frustrated doesn’t quite cut it. I can’t see how this is going to be wrapped up by the end of 2025.

I can't see any reason why they wouldn't have met as planned. IFC, GCF, EIB, and FMO have all approved, so everything that was needed for these large FIs to take it their Boards is clearly available.

I suspect they just haven't got around to updating the website yet. Shouldn't be too much longer to wait ...

Yes I did think today was unlikely given the time zone difference - exactly what we experienced with IFC two weeks ago. Hopefully we see an update on the IDB Invest website today ahead of the formal RNS tomorrow.

Could any long-term / informed investors on here please let me know what you expect the share price to be in Jan / Feb 2026 once the JORC upgrade and DFS is completed? Everything about Blencowe seems to suggest this is a top tier investment with an incredibly low market cap, but I don't really know enough about graphite to understand what the realistic value of this company should be should a $1bn JORC valuation turn out to be true.

If we get an IDB approval RNS this week and any further details on the equity club, I think this thing could definitely be in the 80s by the end of the week.

Would also really like to see a Proactive interview with Olivier. It does feel like they've been very quiet on the publicity over the summer...
