RE: Atome30 Jun 2025 14:16
In the Proactive presentation at around 21.30, Olivier said "we have the option of our existing 20% but obviously the ability to invest into the project to have a higher percentage, if we wish to do so". Earlier in the presentation he said "we have already identified who they (the equity providers) are, and we will make announcements in the coming weeks about the make up of the club".
In my mind, if the equity club is identified and complete, you don't still talk about the option of taking additional equity if you aren't intending on doing it.
The only way ATOME can reasonably fund any additional share of the project's equity component (some of which will be need for the time FID comes around in September) is by doing a fund raise. They are so short on cash they have had to put a £4m facility in place from Peter Levine.
These are of course entirely my opinions and based on my own research. I will be very happy if I'm wrong, but this is my main fear (which I did post about months ago).
