Still quite a number of (what looks like automated) sells going through in blocks of 12,500 or 25,000 shares. You really gotta feel for those people when the definitive Yara offtake agreement gets announced and this thing sky rockets

As SP Angel says, confirmation on the definitive Yara agreement will be a key catalyst for a rerate. Once that happens and if there are some big names announced in the equity club, this thing could fly pretty quickly!

I must admit this has been a very strange price reaction, but not necessarily unexpected. The (crazy) low market cap of this company means you see quite large spikes on little volume. I expect there will be quite a lot more volume to follow later today and over the coming days which are delayed trades from the larger PIs rather than us retail investors.

Either way, these short term movements don’t mean all that much to me. I am convinced this company has a HUGE potential with its product and it’s only a matter of time before it agrees a game changing partnership / deal or is bought out by a major pharma.

Time will tell but I’m quietly confident that this will be a double digit x bagger in the months or years to come.

Thought I’d share so others here aren’t left wondering what the status was and why it’s still not showing as approved.

It’s funny how confirmed approval of the EIB and GCF debt didn’t move the SP at all, but the release of accounts which pretty much state ‘we’ve had a really busy summer and still have no definitive agreements to show for it’ has sent the SP flying 16%+

You never know what you’re going to get as a shareholder in ATOME!

Perhaps they screwed up and didn’t mean to announce it today. Something like that will be a huge SP catalyst and so I’d imagine they’d wait for a Monday or Tuesday to announce. Maybe we have big news coming as soon as next week

Did they not get a £4m loan from Peter Levine? Pretty sure they announced it in the full year results a few months ago. Don’t forget they still have a few £m to be paid prior to FID by Hy24 also.

Apple are going the same way re SS on the foldable phone option, but don't forget they ALSO due to release the iPhone 17 Air shortly, which will also have huge battery size constraints. There's multiple sources of a positive development for us shareholders here.

Whilst we experience complete radio silence from ATOME themselves, it's nice to see that Olivier is doing interviews with H2 view on the project. It's behind a paywall, but seems to suggest positive development and that they are thinking about the build.

Karny … then again I remember a time when ATOME told us Phase 1 of Villeta was on track for FID by the end of 2023 ;)

I understand things slip, but these guys have got it wrong so many times!

I noticed on the company's LinkedIn page over the weekend that they have hired a new employee - Lorena Balbuena - to be their new 'Head of Global Compliance'. In my view, you don't hire people - especially for that type of role - if you weren't serious about the project moving forward, and it signals longer-term intent here to progress the other projects also (global suggesting Costa Rica might be in play).

Hopefully we get an announcement by end of next week latest. I agree the waiting and uncertainty is very frustrating, but I am trying to stay calm and positive.

Kennedy2324 - did you ever receive a response from the company? If so, did it shine a light on anything not covered by the other response shared below?

At face value it is a reassuring message, although I can't help but wonder why there hasn't been any update on things like the IDB Invest approval. As I've mentioned a few times on here, I fear these delays might be caused by ATOME themselves as they are exploring various options to participate in the equity club - but are struggling to do this with the SP at such a low level.

I sincerely hope that my fears are unjustified and we get a major positive announcement shortly, but until that happens, I'm going to be very nervous!

Another week of deathly silence and there are more and more bulk sells happening, driving the SP way back down. We are 25% down on recent highs.

How is everyone feeling? I am very nervous that the weeks are passing and we are completely in the dark. Has anyone heard from the company / investor relations?
