I think many of us are in the same boat as those who so easily express their anger. Many choose to keep their own counsel, but they truly are in the same boat. In a sinking ship, like the Titanic, you get those people who maintain their dignity throughout and you get those who panic and flail around or even dress up as women to beat the queue for the lifeboats. Whatever the outcome, and I believe it to be a good one, either way I choose to keep my dignity in tact whilst the storm of uncertainty around funding rages. Good Luck Mr. Ismay.

MD: Vlad we'd like to use HG-CT-1 for clinical trials in adults how about it.

VS: Yeah why not, just for transparency have you read that study published in Feb 23. Not concerned, just letting you know.

MD: Oh sh*t , sure we'll go ahead anyway it's just money.

VS: Happy days, I'll just keep reducing the value of my shares and everyone elses to keep things ticking along. It'll be weeks before anyone finds out we are wasting our time & everyone's money with the trials and hoodwinking the patients into thinking we can solve problems highlighted more than 2 years ago referencing trials even older than that.

MD: No problem. Incidentally, how on earth did you get that mouse to play a blinder like he did - Lazerus II he was.

VS: Yeah, the mouse did lots of acting work The Green Mile was one of his best.

Some time later.

VS: What's occuring? (Vlad recently worked his way through the Gavin & Stacey box set)

MD: Ist Paient is playing a blinder, 2nd Patient through safety stage and going strong and efficacy results very soon.

VS: That's all well and good MD but if its not in a Scientific Research Paper it means nothing. People will just harp back to 2023.

MD: Chin up Vlad, you'll smash it out the park one day. Results are very close now and one day you will be in a Scientific Research paper of your very own.

Stu - to counter your comment to HT. You say "presently ignorant" which is a little unfair given that your own reference is information from more than 2 years ago. This is hardly "presently" informed.

Shuggy I think it's only fair you run the same AI tool on Stu's statement - for balance of course.

Pingu the 24th Feb was when they announced the infusion P1. Definitely would not announce on same day as infusion in case something terrible happened. How bad would that have looked. In fact, an earlier date the week before would fit better because they seemingly made the pediatric request at 11 weeks and 2 days from announcement date. Suppose for a moment an injection date of Thu 20th - check patient for 4 days over the weekend and that now gives 12 weeks and THEN the FDA request was made. THEY ALREADY HAD THE BONE MARROW TEST, THEY HAD THE DATA ! Why go to FDA about pedriatrics 5 days short of 12 weeks, it doesn't make sense, why gamble pre the 3 month test? As to why they might be withholding the results - if the FDA sanction pediatric inclusion the credibility of HG - CT-1 is enhanced enormously and this then widens interest and increases the ability to get a much bigger deal. Just my opinion.

Using 1st Patient as a benchmark for likely timescales. P2 infusion 2nd May - (4 weeks safety is Friday 30th May) announcement via RNS would be 1st on same timescales as P1 but this is a Sunday - so should get P2 safety announcement Monday 2nd June. Confident as each day goes by without a clinical red dot, we are 18 days in so past the 2 week staging post for P2. We hit P2 28 days on 30th May. P1 it seems still going strong. Also, don't forget that the pediatric application to the FDA for inclusion in cohort came just 11 weeks and 2 days after the 1st patient infused, so not even at the 3 month mark. VS remember said "9 weeks, so far" when talking about the 1st patient. Today we have hit exactly 12 weeks since P1 infusion announcement. Things to look out for IMO - P1 3 month update this week, probably Friday 23rd May; P2 safety announcement Monday 2nd June; FDA Friday 6th June. Good news red dots all the way hopefully. I will take a stab at a decent funding after Friday 6th June when clearance by FDA for pediatric inclusion. By then we will have P1 3 month update & P2 one month safety red dots hopefully. Now, back to the grindstone!

A telling sign off progress within these adult trials, whilst slower than we might all wish, are VS's references to "pediatric"and "children" both in the RNS's and LinkedIn posts. If things were not going well he would avoid references to them in my view. Furthermore, it also demonstrates Vlad's confidence in being able to fund them. He is not withdrawing or retracting verbally from mentioning trials with children and it suggests he has clear understanding and pathway through the funding challenges. If you are starving (of funding) you think hour to hour. If you are comfortable about where your next meal (funding) will come from you can naturally focus on the mid term, at things like the next trials in this case children.

Would be great to hit the dates but if a patient isn't ready (if that 's what it is) no point infusing him/her. How will that help us or them, it would just be counter-productive. If ClinicalTrials.Gov is anything to go by they are still listed as "recruiting" - NOT as "active, not recruiting" or "withdrawn" or "terminated" or "unknown status" or "no longer available" - wouldn't be a way to inform shareholders but they would have to provide a status for clinicians and patients searching for last hope trials for terminal patients with no other alternatives.

Obligatory S.W.O.T analysis that's all. Better things to come I'll wager.

Every day without an RNS is a positive from a clinical standpoint. Everyone should be as excited by the absence of a red dot as much as the red dot itself.

Boom07 I fear you have constructed a seriously incorrect hypothesis regarding Haywain.He works in the industry and fills the knowledge void endlessly and very often at the request of posters. Don't let yourself block out an opportunity for greater understanding because you can't see the wood for the trees.

I think they have gone as far as they can at this stage without actuallly mentioning the word "efficacy". But clear signs to me that within just of few days of the 28, they have the evidence of efficacy. We know its safe! Who would volunteer otherwise. GLA

I am summising that VS has to work closely with MD on results communication as they (MD) will ultimately sign-off on the results data they are responsible for. It's a reputational thing for MD I suspect. Though not suggesting they would ever have done a post 14 day communication. However, the same will apply to the 28 day milestone. Appreciate data is "live" as facilitated by Prevail but will still need sign-off by MD. Apologies for the long run up to my point which is that even if VS wanted to steady the ship right now with even minor positives there is probably an information release embargo in the trial agreement with MD. No news still remains good news in my view. The FDA mandated 28 days is the crucial timescale - not long now!

We would have all preffered a better RNS than yesterday's, but my goodness, it's a bit early for the vultures to be picking at a carcass through yesterday and again this morning. Hemogenyx is far from a carcass! Yes, suffering a self-inflicted wound, but certainly not a fatal one. So, for those still sapping it of the energy and oxygen allow some room to breathe, cancel the coroner, 'cause the company ain't dead yet.
