What is even more staggering is this!

The 2nd Patient was infused on 2nd May - Paediatric amendment filed 14th May. P2 had barely gotten through 2 weeks before the application to extend the trial to children. However, the staggering bit is that the clinicians did not wake up on the 14th May and think "Hey, we'll submit a protocol change to the FDA" - they would have been working on it and using data pretty much from just Patient 1. What does not tell us about their confidence in the safety & efficacy results. Each day which passes with no health related red dot = great health news!

1. HG-CT-1 still recruiting

2. No clinical hold

3. No adverse reports on patient health with 1st patient infused on 24th Feb & 2nd Patient infused on 2nd May

4. 3rd June - 2nd Patient passes initoial safety tests

5. 4th May FDA Paediatric approval for clinical trial

6. FDA Paediatric approval just 12 days AFTER 2nd Patient infused

7. FDA Paediatric approval some 20 days BEFORE Patient 2 passed initial safety tests.

My opinion - unless otherwise reported (because they have to) patients 1 & 2 doing well based on facts above.

That's rich Stu, all you do is "distract and discredit" the science referenced in Haywains' posts. With 25 years in oncology, I know who's posts I gain confidence from.

Patient 1 - now at 120 days since treated - tomorrow 4 months.

Patient 2 - 52 days since treated. (Paediatric application to FDA made when Patient 2 was just 12 days in when APPROVED)

Patient 3 - any day now, fingers crossed.

Nothing clinically adverse reported.

Don't normally write with ire but just not sure if this is the end of all this mornings chat from those not invested or those who are no longer invested but for a free chip left in the game. Offler says "good luck to all genuine investors" which is fine but as far as I can see there are 3 non-investors endorsing directly or implicitly each other and providing reasons not to be a cash investors.

"Permission" from the FDA to treat kids does not in itself make it happen but consider the impact if Hemogenyx issued an RNS stating they not allowed to do so. There would have been some reeling from that bombshell - so another steady step forward. I think this will spark greater interest from institutional investors because it's a potential cure for those with their whole lives in still in front of them.

VS can highlight this news to those he speak to at this week's conferences.

Micky as long as the science works and we get on the road to curing people the money should flow. We are all impatient but we are in the great hands regarding trials (M D Anderson) - when the science proves its worth they will be at the forefront of letting everyone know.

Micky - "Scratch around beg for funding" - it's where people go to do deals. 1500 Exhibitors; 19,608 Registrants from 68 countries - that's a lot of people also scratching around and begging! Open up your horizon a tad and you might see the wood for the trees.

Agree JHFH - VS is damned if he says anything and damned if he doesn't. If he cures people do you think HG-CT-1 will end up on a scrap heap somewhere.

It's a numbers game and at least he is putting himself out there, the more people he sees the better our chances of funding. A deal may be in the pipeline - if it was what does he do, sit in a darkened room hoping it comes off - no, you put irons in the fire in case it doesn't. You can't bemoan everything surely. Have you heard any bad news on the science, no. That is what it all hangs on at the end of the day!
