Pumpky - if we accept that trials are "later this year" as you state, as we often look at semantics, here's one:-
When you are waiting for a train to arrive , you are "expecting" it to arrive - expecting suggests you have no control, you rely on the driver, a third party to enable it to arrive.
"Expected" as used by VS suggests that the start of trials is outside of his control, he is waiting on the actions of others to start trials. It suggests someone else is involved and there is no reliance on him (eg to go and get funding, nor is it conditional on him...he is waiting on others to provide the means to make trials happen - trials therefore are not relying on a placing because he woould have control of that. This certainly suggests that trials WILL start. Some are doubting that, but the starting date is outside his direct control. If he is "expecting" the trials to start then he is both "expecting" a starting date and "expecting" funding to be in place facilitating their commencement. Again, If he was doing a dilutive raise he would not be "expecting" he would know. This leads me to believe that MD will fund and VS trials are "expected later this year" presumably because this needs to be worked through MD protocols & committees before sign off and over which he has no control because, in this analogy, he is not the train driver.
