Since Monroe Dunaway Anderson's legacy is likely to take Hemo to it's inflection point this board should reflect the man. He was described as friendly, kind, humorous and a little bashful. I vote for M D Anderson day today. Ironically he was frugal like VS....proof perhaps this strategy can be successful. GLA

We are a week nearer to first patient injection than we were last Monday. Getting to this point is the cusp of major league stuff with MD Anderson as quarter-back. Onwards and upwards. GLA

Stu - MD Anderson have chosen / sought out Hemogenyx. A world renowned cancer research medical centre. Not sure you should leave that out of any comparison you might be making, as well as ensuring comparatives are like for like.

Several takes from this morning's RNS.

1. Link to MD Anderson...could have been an RNS on its own but slipped in on the 'assay' work which ND clearly undertook.

2. Following Point 1 we have ratification that MD (World respected) think the work Hemo are doing has legs.

3. Clinical trials immknent . This is not VS being ready it is MD. VS could not say this unless MD were really ready.

4. Does not appear to be any issue about trials starting and presumably completing if successful.

5. MD are not going to attach themselves to a half-baked Clinial trial if funding to completion of Phase 1 was not available.

6. MD will be running this show not VS and MD have not got their reputation on spin.

7. Penn in the wings so a couple of fighting against cancer fronts.

I was in France recently and considering properties whilst maintaining one eye on the Hemo share price. I concluded that for my wife and I it will either be "Escape to the Chateaux or "Escape to the Chithole". I really do hope its the former. GL me and All.

These are all realistic steps toward clinical trials, all are realistic potential announcements either singularly or grouped together so I will declare upfront that I will decline lengthy debate and semantics if that is where this contribution is heading. GLA

I reckon VS did not want to announce the big news on CAR-T clinical trials on Labor day - will want maximum impact - so roll on tomorrow!! GLA

Agree dhub & JHFH within the alternative chat group. From the link JHFH shared. All presentation extracts had to be submitted by May 10th 2024 and the "accept" or "reject" notification deadline was 20th August, a week ago. That's 3 months deliberation and reviews by JSTO (Joint Science & Technology Office) subject matter experts. Submissions also went through "classification & operation security review". The Conference is particularly interested in "discoveries & developments yet to be introduced to the chem-bio defense community. I am intrigued to established what other "presenter" companies Hemogenyx are lined up with so I have asked the question of the event organizers and will be interested to see how many companies are involved. It is a critical conference which involves the security of a nation or nations so they clearly want potential solutions. It's no wonder then that VS has announced success at inclusion. I am actually glad the SP did not shift today as it would have led to a whole raft of accusations that VS was using the RNS to somehow pump the share for a placing.

Interesting article in Sunday Times "It's the perfect time to put more cash into medical research" -Ian Cowie. Starts off with his take on Mpox and ends with reference to Chikungunya and Dengue both of which referenced within the CBR "in vitro" RNS. Don't forget too that CBR has a proof on concept intranasally too. This is a significantly better way of delivering a vaccine en masse. We have a seat in this important game and reasons to be optimistic. Let's see what the state of play is on the various viruses come the October Conference. We must also be due a CBR patent update too which should get CBR some exposure GLA

I think dhub has provided sufficient back up for what he sees as a very positive email by the very fact he has purchased 500k today and added to his significant holding. That truly is putting your money where your mouth is! GLA

Whilst I appreciate time is dragging it is a little over 2 months since the additional clinical trial site was announced. It was stated that they have added a prestigious US Medical Centre. Which "will enhance the scope and expedite the timeline for the implementation of clinical trials". These are very definitive statements. As agonising as the wait is- 2 months since he could confirm the above information in the midst of holidays no less is probably a reasonable timescale at this stage of proceedings. We are coming out of that period, I would expect something to be announced very soon. There is as VS states science review committees, internal boards at both sites, budget discussions and logistics planning. Prevail Infoworks still on board to manage and oversee planning for the clinical trials. For those nervous or impatient, I would say don't be. It is in hand and it's in many parties interests that this gets off the ground. RNS's always a good read if wavering.

Worth reading the attached article in combination with the RNS dated 9th January 2023. Government labs currently being utilised for testing CBR so you would like to think that if CBR does deliver in testing fast tracking would be a given. Let's hope so.

Longshorttrade - I guess that even if there is a strong willingness to work together, unless financials are sorted out that partnership cannot be ratified. BUT VS has declared enough about it to be confident and I am not sure he would want to be telling everyone they will not have the support of a "prestigious" MC. In terms of funding - negotiation regarding budgets is funding to some degree. Anyone who shares costs with Hemo is a good thing for the company and ultimately investors.
