JohnHenry, Prevail have secured there position with Hemogenyx announcing it well in advance. The work on child cancer does not start for 6 months - they are not delaying their investment/partnership they are securing it! They feel there are good reasons to do that.

If VS saw dilutive funding as his only option he would have taken it when the price hit 1.9 a time when some portrayed Prevail's commitment as an exercise to ramp the price up. He did not take that option then. So there was no reason then and even less of a reason to do it now. Notwithstanding that very little could be raised doing any sort of discounted share issue.

Prevail see into the future to next March with treatment of children hence there desire to be involved. The potential share price motivates them not fees for managing trials. As annoying as this rollercoaster can be at times - look ahead like Prevail who will be coordinating the trials. In addition, they must have known there was a delay to MD trials starting at the time they discussed and committed as far ahead as March 2025. They are sticking around, so if anxious seek comfort in what Prevail are doing. At December's conference they will be there front and centre too. GLA

Buying in and waiting a week is a long term hold for some investors. We had a flurry last week and now they are disappearing. They don't necessarily know anything. GL to those holding (me included).

Stu if there is an internal problem with another company (in this case Penn) VS is not going to divulge or be indiscreet as he still wishes to garner an ongoing partnership. VS was discreet about their issues but clearly stated facts that they are not commencing clinical trials with Penn. If the delay in Penn being involved in clinical trials was fundamentally about Hemogenyx's product, why are MD Anderson, who know their onions, going ahead with adults as Penn had intended. By your logic MD Anderson, a leader in the field of cancer, cannot see what you unconvincingly think Penn are seeing! There is no dodgy moon landing or grassy knoll here. We are using MD and not using Penn but they both hope so in 2025 and if not ready MD are doing the adults and kids anyway. GLA

I took the opportunity to read over the RNS in light of HK getting to the route of the delay. VS states: " Penn remain eager to participate in clinical trials..." at a later date. Not a phrase you would use if you had been royal ditched as part of cost cutting. Penn clearly have a lot to resolve so we should focus on M D Anderson going forward and hope we have Penn knocking our door when they are in better shape. Best we know now about there issues rather than have found out mid- trials. Presumably the outcome of due diligence carried out by Prevail. We might have a pre Monday buying flurry perhaps, at least for those that are not too precious about a few weeks or a month's wait. GLA

Well done to VS and others for having the product MD wanted to partner with. To have a replacement partner for clinical trials, albeit with a small delay, says more positive things about Hemogenyx than perhaps the negative things that some will undoubtedly try to muster. Well done Hemogenyx. GLA

Stu, you have made a point (agree or not agree) but can you move on from that and not seek to grind the very last ounce of life out of it. You know what happened to all of the Bond villains as they sought to explain ad nauseum how they would rule the world. Take a break and feed that white cat of yours.

Interesting drop of the Prevail RNS yesterday at 11.19 am. Why now when this funding relates to pediatric clinical trials in March. One thought is that Prevail have some strategic sense of when and how non-dilutive funding might come. There is a presentation of CBR cancer-related presentation this week and they have been vocal about this in the past- actively asking investors to join them. So, Prevail announce pediatric well in advance, get their shares and what they perceive to be lower SP than where they believe non-dilutive might take it. Additionally, they are not going to prop up VS with that announcement for 6 months when pediatric trials go ahead and they are not stupid enough to think it would. They got in there early with the 2nd announcement because they know something positive will happen in the intervening period. Prevail want a bigger seat at the table, they believe in the science and they believe there is a meaningful inflection point imminent, soon, later on - whatever but certainly one coming!!! My thoughts GLA

Andy if the path of the scientific progress made by Hemogenyx replicated the "charts" then one might have cause for concern. The path of the science evidenced by the pipeline of developments is on an upwards trajectory. I remain invested in what happens within the lab which the charts, as far as I know, cannot predict. GLA

Whilst I wish the funding question was resolved, like most I guess, I always revert back to the science and the pipeline. I stay invested because the science is so compelling. When did we last hear of any insurmountable bad news on that front. Conversely, if they had £50 million in cash and the science was ropey and there was a litany scientific setbacks I think I would be investing elsewhere. The money WILL follow the science but the science doesn't necessarily follow the money. Thought for the day.

It's not only the cash which helps short term, more telling is they can see this easily surpassing 7.5p on CT RNS's. They are fully aware of the potential at Hemo and who knows what interest there has already been in the CBR cancer related presentation this week. GLA

M D Anderson are no dozers and they also have a reputation to protect. They didn't establish themselves as a world renowned Cancer treatment centre by investing time and resources on potential cancer treatment for kids only to have it pulled because Hemogenyx lack money. How would the optics look for that in the public and professional domain. They will know Hemogenyx's position and still they will be commencing clinical trials shortly. They will not be injecting the first child and then saying "oops sorry can't continue as our scientific benefactor lacks cash" . There's a CBR presentation next week too. The blood suckers on here will disappear soon as they always do. GLA

We've had some consolidation since the MD Anderson news. Combining that with what is on the horizon (not the Post Office one) good reason to be cheerful. Not long now peeps! GLA

VS too will want an RNS out pre or on day of half year report I am sure! They will be working hard to deliver that I am convinced. GLA

Whoknowswhy - not sure what your raison d'etre is with your comments - checked out HE 1 and you are on there with a similar barb. Are you an investor in either of them or a casual disruptor.

As jhfh I think said they are not profit -making so hopefully they cast some funding Hemo's way. GL
