The info has been undated since my last comment with two new positions opened on Monday 13th March.
There are now eight shorters, all doing rather well unfortunately.

I think that means that OCDO is simply moving with the market Boyobach and will probably continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
All the positive sentiment has been knocked out the SP and the shorts are just milking profit on a day by day basis, based on market movements.
There are seven positions at the moment with the newest two being opened on the 8th March, all are well in profit, total for the seven is 5.87% - the banking blip has the potential to be very profitable for them.

Prospects in Croatia look to be excellent with Eqtec pushing at an open door for this project.

The main advantage with the MDC design model is that it creates two separate revenue streams - Power generation and Biochar.
This will I think make it much more attractive for investment, especially now that Biochar is being traded globally as a carbon offset product by the likes of Microsoft. Biochar is now well established for agricultural use and is especially valued for growing grapes.
Now that the technology is proven, I think the orders will start flooding in.

The main thing is that it looks to be containable without to much damage - next to no damage in the UK thanks to HSBC.
The US markets are looking better now with the NASDAQ well up.
Hopefully we should see a bounce tomorrow and it could be a very good one with investors looking for bargains.

We always see an irrational fear when a banking crisis is mentioned and the current events are a classic.

SVB, simply had too much exposure to the tech industry with higher interest rates causing tech companies lots of problems - the Bank was simply too small to deal with this fall out.

However, when we get this sort of irrational turmoil, buyers tend to wait on the sidelines until the smoke clears.

Hold you nerves, this fall today has nothing to do with ENQ or the oil industry, its simply the irrational fear surrounding what is perceived as a Banking crisis.
The problem SVB had was that it was too small to handle the exposure it had to the tech industry, with many of its tech company account holders facing problems because of higher interest rates.
Hopefully we will see a big bounce back soon as nerves settle.

As we all know the tech industry is suffering short term because of higher interest rates, including the companies that had accounts with the UK division of SVB.
But long term for HSBC to pick up this portfolio of cash hungry company accounts and absorb it into the UK Bank has to be a great move for the Bank.

There is nothing like a banking crisis to bring fear to the markets.
This time it seems to be driven by irrational fear.
The US authorities seem to be on top of things and here in the UK HSBC got its bargain of the centaury for just £1.
So unless there is an unforeseen development it will all be forgotten in a few days time.

Yes, short term that's likely and its probably a target for the shorters.
They will at some point run into buying pressure, then I guess they will move on and the SP will recover some what.
There are plenty of other companies for them to exploit.
Never been on IDS, but lots of other boards.

I don't see AB doing anything other than continuing to pay down debt.
He won't sell the company or make any big investment in the company.
Also he has never, to my knowledge, done anything to enhance the SP, but I think this will change when debt is under control - this will I think be the point that he sells his shareholdings and moves to pastures new.

A lot can happen between now and June.
The problem at the moment is that the whole market isn't attractive to buyers unless there is short term gain.

US jobs numbers OK - looks like market will reverse some of today's losses - hopefully better sentiment next week.
