Assuming investors get a dividend, I think its reasonable to predict that the SP will continue to rise steadily throughout the rest of the year - after the usual dip just after results - inflation and interest rates look set to fall, therefore retailers should start to build margins again.
M&S looks very well set to exploit a positive change in fortunes.

IMF blog post predicting interest rates will fall towards pre Covid levels as soon as inflation is brought back under control.

Has to be good news for tech shares.

I guess expectations will continue to build with a dividend already built into the SP before results are published.

There is a good chance we could see 200p over the next six weeks, depending on the market.

This is still a very firm hold for me.
These AIM minnows can take off at any time, more or less without warning.
The share consolidation could be the catalyst for that, especially if it encourages a few large investors to take a stake.

The SP has certainly been flat for a while now, but there is nothing not to like about TRX and the management are doing a very good and proficient job .

The deal between Ceres and the other two partners Weichai and Bosch is agreed.
All we are waiting for is the commercial deal between Weichai and Bosch - this was expected late 2022.

Yes all good from Enquest - especially production.
Its also very notable that they ARE doing a lot to transition towards renewables and reduce their carbon footprint.
They certainly should be getting credit and encouragement from Government, not hammered by the EPL.

Unfortunately the SP is always the last thing to recover and the least important factor for directors growing a small AIM business. Hence we see the majority of AIM companies recording a lack luster share performance - this is particularly true when the macro is poor.

Its future share performance that's important, when the business does start to grow and become profitable - Eqtec does finally seem to be moving in that direction.
At the moment just use the opportunity for an early investment punt - a good number of shares for a small monetary investment.

Broken record true, but more a reflection of the nature of Eqtec's business and the reliance of other companies to progress projects to completion rather than a failure by Eqtec directors.

Don't underestimate the effects that Covid and higher interest rates have had over the past few years.

Anyway, todays news has to be considered a positive and more evidence of the push forward - momentum is the driver, get that back and success will follow.

The Directors are starting to get Eqtec moving forward now in a hostile macro environment.
They are performing very well in the circumstances and certainly earning their salaries.
A higher shareholding will push them that bit more.

The best performing AIM companies are the ones where the directors have more skin in the game -

Would you really want to be on the sidelines when the news that the JV has been signed comes through???

Ceres have already announced in an RNS that the only detail to be agreed before the JV is signed is commercial agreement between Bosch and Weichai, so its hardly insider information when the deal is actually agreed.

Therefore, share purchases by the CEO and the CFO's wife are certainly not breaking any insider trading rules because the details are already in the public domain.

The basic choice that AB has now with Enquest is to embrace change or to move on - all the bluster in the world doesn't alter the fact that the UK has to embrace renewables in the fight against climate change.

However, the changes needed by Enquest are not that radical - its certainly not a case of just ceasing production.

For example the heavy oil from Kraken could be diverted from energy production to produce Bitumen, additives can now be added to bitumen to seal in the carbon - roads can effectively be used for long term carbon storage.

As for carbon storage in old oil wells, this is unproven to work, but if the Government or big business pay the bills why not run with it.

Clearly Sullom Voe offers an opportunity, even if its unclear how big the opportunity could be for Enquest.

Continued negativity will only prolong the agony with the SP simply scraping the bottom and following Brent, hopefully later next week you will get some vision for the future for Enquest that will pull in the investors and make a real difference to the SP.

Regarding Biochar.
The quality of the product is directly related to how its produced.

Some producers use very basic tech in production but with their advanced tech Eqtec will produce a superior product that can be traded by companies like Microsoft to offset their carbon emissions. This biochar is then sold on for use in agriculture giving two revenue streams.

Soft plant waste obviously won't be any use for Biochar production but it can be processed by simple anaerobic digestion into a plant based pelleted fertiliser. If a lot of soft material was available this could provide another source of revenue with minimum capital spend with the gas produced used at the plant or used to generate power to the grid.

Some investors have no concept of how a growth business evolves in the long term - there is bound to be extreme volatility depending mainly on the macro, especially when new tech is involved.

Its notable, that as soon as the SP starts to drift that the buyers return, suggesting that there are plenty of long term buyers accumulating stock.
