The caveat on the US market is that they agree the budget deal - everything crossed.

It has been the case that UK tech stocks also broadly follow the Nasdaq but this doesn't seem to be the case at the moment - not sure the reason for this?

Comments in the Daily Telegraph this morning attributed to the head of Legal and General make sombre reading for UK investors - he blames political mistakes going back to Brown selling the gold for the state of London markets and sees little respite.

Rather than going for an additional US listing on the Nasdaq it could be that ITX will cancel their London listing and just list in the US - that would certainly make sense for the next stage of their development especially as they are US based.

Certainly not an ouch moment to be fully invested here with the SP at these levels.

The ouch moment will come after the JV is signed and the sheep pile in and the SP inevitably goes overbought.

Without the good news we are all expecting, the current SP with its downside volatility is par for the course.

Most tech shares have been knocked back by the macro - mainly by higher interest rates - and are lacklustre at the moment.

Very unlikely Ashcroft wants the company - he just sees a good investment in the Green Brothers - they ARE the company in a business like this.

Ceres have already said that they have agreed their part of the JV - that is clear.

The only thing left under discussion before final agreement is the commercial terms between Bosch and Weichai.

Ceres, like us, are simply waiting with no real idea of the time frame for the agreement.

it is very clear though from Weichai's news flow of their website that they are fully committed to the JV and that the CEO's of Bosch and Weichai had a face to face meeting in April.

Bosch and Weichai have been collaborating on various projects for more than 20 years.

The move to the FTSE250 is on hold until the JV is signed.

Its just a matter of when - big corporations don't do anything fast.

Retailing is tough at the moment.

Sure M&S customers are faring better than most but as a retailer its still necessary to keep control of prices - there is certainly a limit to what customers will pay - also more promotions are needed to maintain customer loyalty.

All this costs and its generally margins that suffer and that hits the bottom line.

Certainly long term the outlook is good, with inflation certainly falling and MKS is certainly likely to move back to the FTSE100 in the next few years, meanwhile we have to be patient and not expect too much.

Its likely that we will also get some sort of trading update and a forecast with the results.

Don't forget we still have the full year results from 2022 to come - that could be anytime - early June last year.

I think you are probably right jimjam.

My guess is that results will meet expectations and we will see a dividend.

As for the SP that will probably dip but regain any losses fairly quickly - dependent on the market - but any negative talk in the forecast will be bad news.

It seems that generally M&S is performing very well.

Assuming this is confirmed by the results then we can be pleased with our investment, however, the limitations imposed by the dire self inflicted economic situation in the UK cannot be ignored.

Finally we are seeing the SP rise in response to what is clearly an improvement in sentiment as a result of the improving prospects for Eqtec.

I guess we all expected SOFC to become more relevant when renewables were the main source of power in 10-20 years, but now it seems that it will provide a vital role in energy security and fighting climate change within the next 5 years on the run up to 2030.

The BBC have finally woken up to the choke hold that the national grid has over renewables.

In other words lack of capacity to ramp up electricity supply.

That means that projects are put on hold - not a great option - or power coming from a wind farm, for example, is converted into green hydrogen for use by heavy industry, mixing with natural gas for the gas grid etc.

A great opportunity for Ceres in our home market.
