Food sales over the next few months will be boosted by the Coronation.
That will help online and instore - M&S products will certainly be in high demand - rather like having two Christmases in one year!

The opposition to the introduction of the EPL floor is already building with Miliband calling next Thursday "Fossil Fuel Thursday".
He said it would see "giveaways to companies already making record profits, for a policy that will make no difference to energy bills or security, fleecing the public whilst trashing the climate."

How much difference his opposition will make to Government policy with out weak ineffectual Government is an unknown but having flagged the issue, its unlikely now that this will just be seen as a technical change.

M&S are riding the wave now that will as Carrington says take them back to the FTSE100 with those lovely dividends.

Contrast that will the fortunes of John Lewis who are now considering ditching their principles and shafting their partners because the business has lost so much ground. Its no surprise that Mary Portas and ex John Lewis boss Andy Street are so aggrieved.

I think the success of M&S and the demise of John Lewis underlines just how important top management is in retail.
You really do need experienced retailers in charge or at least taking advice for the experienced retailers in the team.

At the moment the main driver for the SP here is sentiment and the news from France has certainly improved the sentiment.

Most investors agree there is more good news on the way , we should now see a steady and sustained improvement in the SP over an extended period.

Its also created an excellent investment window with the chance to pick up a meaningful amount of shares for a small investment that could multiply in valve many times over the long term - this to me is what investing in AIM stocks is all about.

Its the build in the workforce this year that is significant.
Ultimately its Ceres technical skill that is driving this company and getting it noticed by multinationals around the world.
Without the skill base this would not be possible.
This drive to perfect and improve the tech is on the cusp of producing very significant shareholder returns.

I think the financial position is becoming more positive for Equtec with potential for much better income this year.

The outlook for investors is much more difficult after the fund raise, with no real prospect of a decent return for a very long while, although I think that there is a good chance that the SP could recover some of the lost ground over the next few months.

Its time I think for a small speculative punt.

I am quite sure that the credibility gained by the tie up with the Université de Lorraine has led to this opportunity.

Make a good go of this one and Eqtec will see many more in France.

The good thing is that the French Government, central and regional, has the savvy to fund feasibility studies for projects like this, so the funding is secure.

I think the sale of the other 50% on Ocado Retail was planned for around 2030 - this is the when the M&S sole option to purchase the other 50% runs out.

This deal works, or worked, for both companies but has been somewhat blown apart by the UK's poor economic performance - from Ocado's point of view profits from retail are used to grow the global business.

Hopefully we should see a return to profitability by Ocado Retail later this year but I doubt the next trading statement will be great reading.

Unfortunately the global downturn, greatly compounded by Brexit, has knackered the UK economy, it may be that Ocado have to do things the hard way and grow the global CFC's into profit.

The true value of a company rarely shows in the SP of these small AIM companies.
It best to forget the SP and just concentrate on the companies long term development.

The thing with these small AIM companies is that they hardly ever reach their sales targets and then you get diluted, big time.
Often this means that the SP no way reflects the actual prospects for the company.

The jury is still out, re the success of Eqtec, but prospects do look better over the last few months, so although the SP is cr*p, the company could still hit the big time.

I was down 95% on ITX and that came good, but it took nearly five years.

A fast move up could provoke a short squeeze - there are nine at the moment on Short Europe at a total of 6.19% - four are already in a loss position.

Another reason for the share consolidation could be that the company is considering a listing on the NASDAQ in the next few years. It would certainly make sense, with so much of the business based in the US.
