I think that you are missing the big difference between SM and your investment in PMO and mine in Enquest - simply that when production starts SM will have far more control over its pricing than any oil company - all our troubles over the past five years or so with our oil investment can mainly be attributed to the volatile price of Brent.

For that reason I would say that SM may even be a safer investment.

There is something that doesn't ring true about these reports - granted she is not due at the Saudi port until tomorrow morning - however, why not continue to a safe anchorage on the Saudi side of the Gulf, instead of slowing down from 12knots and stopping close to the "hostile" Iranian coast.

I invested here a few years ago when the company was flying high and seemed like it could do no wrong - it is sad to see how things have turned out - especially in the US and Australia.

Looking in from the outside it would seem that the best outcome now for shareholders would be a takeover - maybe by a high profile mortgage lender???

members has been badly wounded by investing in oil over the last few years - as a fellow suffer I know what he is going through - it has, and continues to be a deeply frustrating business - any short term pain here is a doddle compared to PMO and Enquest.

The AIS is very poor this morning so it is difficult to say if there has been a hook up but it seems that SN is probably not far from her last reported position 11 nautical miles SW of AK because no other tanker satellite positions are present in the area.

It looks like SN is getting into position for a hook up from the west - daylight extends way into the night this far north with only a few hours of darkness, so hook up could even be in the early hours - AIS is still poor.

Your point about being a disruptive company is sort of wrong but in a very good way.
Since ICL brought out their polyhalite product they have I think proved polyhalite in the market place - when SM start production it will be with a proven product that the end user understands - this will I think be extremely valuable to SM, especially in the early years of production.
Also if demand outstrips what SM can initially supply then margins could be increased to pay off debt and/or pay dividends.

AIS is very poor the only thing we can be sure of is no hook up today.

Up about a dollar in the last hour - numbers have been bad this morning so I guess the market is responding to the Iranian National Guard threat to apprehend a UK tanker.

This has the look of tanker tease - SN is currently pointing in the wrong direction for a hook up - also Cygnus is currently sailing towards AK from the south west.

SN has arrived but no real indication of a hook up yet.

Yes, it certainly seem that way, however until the bonds are sold it probably doesn't matter - a fairly static SP on low volume is probably good news.

One thing that does puzzle me is how the shares traded on the Nex exchange influence the SP on the main market - these trades seem to be mainly buys - as can be seen on this link - and make up around 25-35% of total SM shares traded.

Does anyone know please?

Have TLW paid back proportionately more debt than Enquest and PMO???

members- we all share your frustrations - Enquest has Kraken running at near plateau production - BP virtually gave Magnus away and it has plenty more reserves - yet the SP is still being manipulated on the upside by a few and the volume is so poor that every time Brent falls the SP follows it.

members - something will turn it all around sooner or later both companies have improving fortunes but Brent is still a worry and with Trump so disruptive everything is stacked against us at the moment.

SN is still on track to arrive late tomorrow morning - AIS is very poor on route and also at the Kraken field so we may have difficulty getting exact times.

Thank you for the correction romaron - I must be loosing it - 5.77% was in June 2018.

Therefore, the steady reduction continues and probably also contributes to the low volume.
