Woodford based his investment choices on stocks that he thought would bounce after Brexit - his philosophy was that Brexit would have little effect on the UK economy.
Unfortunately for him, and us, the delays to Brexit went on for too long - he ran out of time waiting for the bounce and allied to that he had some bad luck with Provident Finance and a few others.
He is yet another victim of the political incompetance surrounding Brexit - Eton Mess!!!
