I think sentiment will always be the driving factor - even when the institutions have the bulk of the shares.
Simply because SM will be a must have share for every fund manager and that will give us a vastly inflated market cap.

I hope you are right epiphany - the trouble is when was Trump ever predictable - I don't suppose he even knows what way he is going next - look at the North Korea talks for example.

But what can we expect from this weekend - it seems OPEC will extend cuts but that is the only real certainty.

Will it kick off with the US and Iran? - Is shale on the wain? - Will the US and China kiss and make up?

The problem at the moment is that there is no clear sense of direction - Brent could be at $85 or $50 in a few months time.
Its no wonder investors are avoiding oil at the moment - forget the conspiracy theories - its all about uncertainty.

I just picked up this up from cadburyhill's transcript of the CEO's statement - very interesting - could be a real game changer !!!

"We are also investigating functional additives that may improve the performance and expand the market opportunities for biodegradable plastics."

The income stream is certainly very positive - the only question mark is if it will come quickly enough to stave off another cash problem - those of us that have been here for a while have already had one very painful dose of dilution last summer.

Just needs confirmation of the bond sale then the SP will quickly respond - market cap £1500m by Christmas?

Cash looks a bit tight but this is from the Chief Executive's report -

"I believe the Group's polymer technology platform is set for generating stronger revenue growth in 2019 and beyond from our current customers, new customers gained through our worldwide partners, and new products emerging from our development pipeline."

Lets hope the revenue grows enough to prop up the cash position.
