News media say it is owned by Norbulk but they only seem to manage vessels - not own them.

Reports are saying that the Mesdar is owned by Norbulk Shipping based in the UK but they only manage the day to day running of vessels they don't own them.

Mesdar is a US owned super tanker according to marine traffic - it veered off course towards the Iranian coast but has maybe just turned and is heading towards the EUA - maybe the US have regained control.

The load size is generally governed by the size of the tanker taking the load to its final destination.

If is is one of the US Gulf Ports then the load is generally no more than 550k because larger tankers cannot gain access to the ports because their draught would be over the ports limits. There are a few exceptions.

This time, however, the Sapphira is larger than average, so it maybe that the load is destined for Europe or Asia , so it could be 600k.

My money would be on Scott Spirit doing a quick dash to AK in the next few days.

Most of the shuttle fleet is on its way to or from other fields at the moment but the following may be available -
Navion Oceania - has just come out of dry dock in Gdansk but is still in the port.
Scott Spirit - is laid up off Germany - I think she is empty, despite the reported draught.
Navion Oslo - is close to Aberdeen but she has never been to Kraken - probably because she is a bit too small.

The other tanker for the STS, Sapphira is still moored off Norway

That's all very well but it doesn't always turn out that way - take Alma for example - is it realistic to base a companies future on a maybe - new resources from elsewhere are needed.

To work out if Enquest is a steal at the moment with just 10 years of reserves it would be necessary to also speculate how Brent will perform over the same period.

There were two STS transfers last year involving Kraken crude - the first STS transfers at Sullom Voe for many years.
It is possible that Enquest have attracted another company to use the facility but unlikely I think.
