It should be this week - I have started looking but nothing yet.

Maybe the planned 3 week shutdown night come soon but it wasn't mentioned in the May update.

IC are even negative about the oil majors - BP is a sell, one reason being Trump - Shell is a hold, even though Shell plan extensive share buy backs.

Caution is still required - its just possible that the SP is being manipulated upwards as it was between the 7-10th May - then the shorts came in, the day traders fled and lots of stop losses were taken out as the SP plummeted.

The shorts game would be to play on the nerves of investors and try and trick us into thinking that there was a problem with the bonds - in other words create panic.

They succeeded in May - nothing to stop them trying again.

Yes, IC are certainly consistent with all their reviews and they are certainly on the cautious side.

What we need now is an Moody's review - they said this in their last review in November 2018 -
"The ratings could be upgraded should EnQuest further strengthen its reserve base in order to underpin average production above 70 kboepd while maintaining a 2P reserve life of at least ten years and avoiding that adjusted total debt to EBITDA rise above 3.0x under a range of oil price scenarios"

Hopefully we are close to achieving this.

That has to be the most unimpressive trial I have seen for any product to date - not sure how ICL had the cheek to publish it.

The only thing it proves is that if you fertilise a UK grown crop in the autumn and again in the spring the yield goes up.

The main think with rape is to get it off to a good start in the autumn but this is down mainly to the weather - to get the best chance I guess most farmers will feed in the autumn - if it looks rubbish in the spring they tend to just plough it in.

IC's last update on Enquest was on 22nd March - just a week after the Cairn downgrade - this update was negative.

Since then Kraken has improved and the general outlook is considerably better - it will be interesting to see if this view is reflected in their next update.

Volume is up nicely again - currently 9,911,847 - oil in the news Iran and hurricane - so nothing to do with a takeover - simply share demand is back - hopefully we can now get a leg up to at least 25p while it lasts.

I came her late so I don't know much about the past history with SM and ICL - so please forgive me if this causes offence.

It must be said now that ICL's polyhalite product is probably the best thing that could have happened for SM in the pre-production phase, simply because it has proven the product - any potential investor can now see that polyhalite is the real deal.

Also I think that ICL will stop production at Boulby as soon as they can make a cost saving by using SM as a supplier - as for their aggrevive marketing of polyhalite that is just how they operate in the industry so dont read to much into that.

Looking for 18p before the bonds are confirmed.

Its probably better to view the up and coming few years as an opportunity to continue to accumulate cheap shares - get in before the institutions start to accumulate.

petergar - that would be nice but you have to look at the market cap with all the extra shares - sentiment can only pull us up so far at this stage - but the skies the limit when production starts.

This is better - all we need now is a few fireworks and Brent will soar and wake up the Kraken.

It would be nice to see the SP creep towards 18p over the summer - then make 25p when the bonds are sorted.

It looks like the period of gentle manipulation at 15p may be over - volume is down and the SP has managed to creep up - maybe signalled by the Capital RNS this morning.
