Triathlon is now on her way to Rotterdam - her draught is 14.1m - she is a larger than average tanker so we can say with confidence that she has a load probably well in excess of 550k.

The latest load is currently being transferred to the tanker Triathlon in Scapa Flo.

This load seems to be another larger than average load of maybe 550-600k - Triathlon is a large tanker - her destination is Roterdam - I am not sure why NO didn't take the load directly to Roterdam.

Yes, the irony is that the build itself is going fantastically well - or at least it was until the slowdown - SM have a fantastic product with proven demand - but in a country that spawned the industrial revolution we are unable to raise the capital to fund the project and to cap it all our Government just doesn't have the foresight to provide the badly needed loan guarantees.

This mornings early fall looks like market manipulation by a short ahead of closing out - taking advantage of the low volume early on - SP is now recovering and volume increasing with auto buys - so positive rather than negative.

A series of auto sells pushed the SP down to 3.00 on the sell side in the first few minutes of trading - the SP is starting to recover but volume is low and there are not many buyers about.

Whatever you views on politics and Brexit there is no getting away from these facts -

Today wasn't want we hoped for but it was a bad day for the markets in general - with Brent looking bullish again I can see no reason why we shouldn't see a much better response tomorrow and into next week - patience as always is the key.

Politics is also interfering in our world with the news that the main opposition party in the UK will impose extra taxes on North Sea Oil if it gets elected and raise Capital Gains Tax to 50%. We must also consider what would happen if Scotland became an independent nation with more taxes for North Sea Oil and mabe even nationalization possible.

We should get a nice surprise today and see the start of the long awaited improvement in the SP - we knew to expect these figures but they are new to the market.

Well worth a re rate I think.

Looking back it is amazing how Enquest's fortunes have improved in the last 9 months - all we need now is for that to be reflected in the SP.

Trump loyalists won't desert him whatever damage he does - they expect him to be radical and are totally unable or unwilling to appreciate the damage he causes - they simply like the drama and the collateral conflict he creates in their name.

However, at the end of the day there probably are not enough Trump loyalists to win the next election, so he will fail - but don't expect him to change his policies because if he does even his loyalists will abandon him.

For the rest of us that means more economic damage and a lower oil price as a result - not good.

Logic suggests averaging down but caution suggests otherwise - at least for the moment - the way forward is still not clear - although SM is undoubtedly in a better position than they were a few weeks ago - however that doesn't necessarily mean that shareholders will benefit.

Has anyone seen an update regarding the SM patent on seed coatings.

It would seem logical to develop this quickly - probably with a partner already in this market such as Novatis - because the amounts of Polyhalite needed would be small - a good use of early production - and the potential profit could be very substantial. Probably the best option for #beyondwoodsmith that can be started now.

We badly need an unexpected draw this afternoon.

Confirmation now - NO is on her way to Scapa Flo with what looks like a slightly larger than average load - probably around 550k.

It looks like the offload is over - around 25 hours - but AIS is still so poor that it is impossible to be 100% certain.

Draught and destination not yet updated for NO but she should be on her way to Scapa Flo - she is expected at 21.00 this evening.

About 10.5 hours and counting - AIS is still unclear.

Looking on the bright side, the life of the field will be extended because of the downtime and Brent might be $100 by the time production resumes.
