More CFC's in the future - a second mini CFC in 2022 and looking for new CFC sites and 12+ more Zoom sites.

A second mini CFC will open in 2022 and progress is being made securing sites for further standard sized CFCs"

The involvement of Weichai in the fundraising underlines their commitment to the joint venture with Ceres and paves the way for very significant future earnings by way of a licensing deal for Ceres products with Weichai.

"Once the trial completes, we hope to announce the establishment of a joint venture fuel cell manufacturing company in Shandong Province, China, in mid-2021 to produce SteelCell® SOFC systems. A very strong and solid fundraise with Bosch and Weichai both fully committed - this is the sort of fundraise you only see from a position of strength - I am reminded of Ocado when they go for more cash.

Obviously dilution but as the pot grows bigger that is of little consequence.

SP may continue to flat line for a while - continued strong buying opportunity - before it accelerates away again at some point.

The move up could be as soon as tomorrow with the update from Ocado Retail.

The Chinese do like European products - they consider them to be superior quality - so the website could work, selling the top end clothing products, especially Jaeger, that M&S are selling in the UK - quality rather than quantity - they already have the website up and running in Hong Kong.

Actually we complain a bit about the lack of news but the acquisitions of Kindred Systems and Haddington Dynamics could be much more significant than anticipated at the time.

The relevance isn't just that it gives Ocado Solutions a bigger market to aim at, but maybe importantly by adding robots to the packing end of order picking it not only speeds up the process but also reduces the labour needed.

With wage inflation a highly likely outcome as we emerge from Covid, this could be very important, especially as the opposition is so heavily labour dependent - yet another major reason for retailers around the world to use Ocado Solutions.

Sorry romaron, I shouldn't have mentioned Brexit, but the vaccine issue is a valid discussion point, if the EU members don't get on with their roll out we could see another variant emerge that the vaccine doesn't control, then Brent could slide again because another lockdown would be needed.

Obviously you stand to make more money in the long term if you don't top slice, but that is a very risky strategy.

The best option is to take profit and just leave profit if possible - that means that it is important to have a large chunk of shares to start with.

It is interesting to speculate where the SP would have been now, without the stimulus of Covid.

My guess is that we would have seen a slower by steadier rise to maybe just about where we are now or just above.

Therefore, todays valuation probably isn't that far off the mark.

What we need now is a for the cash to start flowing in from the new CFC's and an announcement of new contracts, then the SP will start to grow organically again - its all a bit in limbo at the moment..

As I see it the EU and the nations within it are sick to the core and overwhelmed by a big unwieldy institution that makes effective administration of national affairs of each of the nations impossible.

The single market is great and the UK will miss belonging to it but the price to pay for inclusion within the current set up is too high.

As independent nations there is no way that member nations would have made the mistakes that the EU made with the vaccine roll out, the reliance on the EU caused the failure as it does with so many issues that the EU is involved in.

The whole institution that is the EU needs to be rolled back and striped of most of its power to just become a simple trading block of Independent and competing Nations .

They didn't help steer a vaccine program through the early stages - they made a complete **** up of the contract with Astra Zeneca, there was no penalty clause other than they wouldn't pay if the vaccine wasn't delivered - they misinterpreted the data from the trials and didn't even use all that was available - national leaders and EU leaders haven't promoted the vaccine roll out - sometimes its all about leadership in this case it has been abysmal.

I was never a fan of Brexit but looking at the EU now from an outsiders perspective, I do now wonder if I was wrong.

The completely shambolic way that they have handled the vaccine roll out, and especially todays decision to stop using the Astra Zeneca vaccine, seems to highlight everything that is wrong with this overblown bureaucratic institution.

To put their institutional correctness ahead of saving peoples lives is shameful. The EU leadership should be pushing with all their might to make sure all EU citizens are vaccinated.

I must admit that the sensitive way that evolution of the business is being handled, even setting up the alumni network as part of the transformation plans, is a massive credit to M&S and is something that I haven't come across before.
