On the MODI 1 Trial I agree they need to explain why H1 has come and gone, it just isn't good enough to allow these dates to continually slip by. As I said a few days ago, we are all grown ups ( maybe ) we can handle the truth. What does become wearing is being let down as we have been these past five years. I know some of it is not in Scancell's control but better communication would be nice.

I'm trying to understand what data the next 3 to 5 months will bring on the Covidity Trial in SA.

Not to be over eager I'm hoping that we receive trial approval by W/C 16th August and 1st subject dosed by early September.

Do you have any thoughts on how long we will have to wait for the Safety Data to be announced ?

Do you think it will be weeks or running to a couple of months?

Newcrest's commitment to mine Havieron cannot be in doubt, why else would they give the green light to develop the Portal and Decline.

To begin the Decline means that they have a good grasp of what the PSF is going to look like, obviously they will have contingency planning as they descend deeper.

The cost of closing or moth balling Telfer would be a real blow to the whole company wide strategy if you take into account Cadia and Lahir.

Havieron is a fantastic prize for Newcrest and Sandeep's status as a solid CEO, it also cements Telfer while other possible prospects are developed in an area that could be gold mine central in 10 / 15 years.

So as long as there is not a meltdown of the world economy or a direct meteor strike at Havieron the mine "IS" going ahead.

As an analyst it has to be seen that all potential risks are being weighed even if he really believes that it's dead certainty.

If SAHPRA are not dealing with Covidity as an extra special case the next meeting where it can be discussed and approved is around the 12th / 13th August with hopefully an RNS announcement week commencing the 16th August.

This is now only 3 weeks away. I was hoping for a much more enlightened fast track but these things have to be done correctly.

Once approved does anyone have an idea how soon data could be gathered in the Safety aspect of the Trial ?

I'm presuming that some of the participants need to go into the general population and contract Covid to give antibody and T Cell data. Will that be a case of weeks or months to gather that data ?

I'm asking these questions so I can build an estimation of a future timeline.

Newcrest Full Year results 19th August ( 4 weeks ).

Drill Core 6 week update on the 1st September ( 6 weeks ). At least 15 cores already sent to the Labs with more to add. So September results could be 21 ish Cores.

Exploration Core results, JV and our own 100% :
Backlog in the Assay Labs, SD said 7 weeks but current upgrade investment in the labs may bring that down to 5 weeks.

After this lump of news we have Newcrest September Quarterly at the end of October which could match up beautifully with a slightly delayed PFS.

So everyone is right when they say that the next 4 weeks is the time to build on or just hold tight to your shares.

Totally understand that they could consider it 'not RNS worthy' but it was up front and centre in each of the proceeding 2 or 3 RNS's. To my mind it was one of the pieces of news the company were promoting as a note in the diary to look forward to.

They could do a tweet or a 'Reach' just to say where they are in the process because the target date has past by.

I just don't understand why they are unable to be more shareholder inclusive.

I am a little fazed by the fact that the MODI1 trial was repeatedly reported as going to be submitted in H1 2021.
We are now 22 days past that date with no word from Scancell to indicate why this has not been completed on time.

My main gripe is why continually commit to a timeframe, miss it and offer no explanation. We are all grown ups ( I think ) we can handle the truth, just gives us the facts.

Not concerned with Covidity that is in the hands of SAHPRA.

This is a pattern that has played out many times just before the 6 week Drill Core Reports

MM's move the price around early in the week and then the SP rises up to Wednesday lunchtime.

The last two reports were not the best we've ever had but it means that this June Quarterly could have some really good Infill and Growth drilling results.

This should be the 17th straight 'excellent drill core results'.

I'm hoping that this reports does something different this time and the SP gets a push upwards on Thursday am.

Those new jobs speak of a well developed plan to enlarge the internal capabilities of the company.

It also says that the train will very shortly be leaving the station. I have been carefully building my holding in Scancell and hearing about these new positions just adds to my confidence.

More importantly, it shows Scancell have the confidence that their platforms are about to deliver.

Awaiting NHS capacity.

2 ) MODI1 - Application to conduct a Trial.

3 ) SCIB2 - What are we going to do now its definitely back in-house and now that we have a potential new delivery system or two.....?

4 ) AvidiMab and Glycan Mabs -
Covidity could Validate. Plus, is it the Mabs platforms why Zakari Ltd was created ?

5 ) Mab FG2811 - Are we going to develop this ourselves and will it spawn yet another platform.

6 ) Covidity Delivery System's - Are obviously 'Up and Running'.
No Needle delivery ??

7 ) Covidity Manufacture - Cobra deal in place with the two possible drug formulations are SN15 and SN17.

8 ) Covidity - We await the SA trial approval RNS in the coming weeks.
Hopefully before the end of July.

9 ) Karolinska Institute collaboration seems to be focussed on Auto-Immune conditions.

10 ) BionTech collaboration will be more meaningful once we have MODI1 in the clinic.

11 ) With the new positions filled at Scancell are we planning our own Car-T platform ?

It still amazes me how water tight Scancell are given the range of potential news......

Should have said that the Full year report is just 8 weeks later.
Somehow deleted August, maybe it was a Freudient slip.

Still means that solid news is building up over the next 3 months.

The next Quarterly Report is just 10 days away, Wednesday 21st July UK 10:30 / 11:00 pm usually. These results should contain more than just 7 cores and hopefully more than 2500 mtrs of drilling.

We may even have an update on the progress of the Decline.

That report is followed up only 4 weeks later in September with the Newcrest 'Full Year Report' where Sandeep will be outlining to his Newcrest shareholders, how Havieron is progressing and what the next steps are in developing the mine.

Added to this is the suggestion that the PFS could be ready in September, which means we are about to reach a rich period of significant RNS's.

The next 2 months have all the positive news ingredients to move the SP much higher. If the PFS is released by the end of September we should see the back of 25p and very possibly reaching 30p as several big questions will have been answered. The MRE will become 'Indicated' meaning it can be added to the company accounts as an asset.

After the last 4 months of being pushed around the SP should be standing on much more solid ground.

Although I understand that the Safety Trial will start in SA when they are confident it's ok to do so.

I would guess that the 'powers that be' in South Africa have welcomed the opportunity to help develop a 2nd Gen Vaccine.

I for one will be very unhappy with both our Board and SAHPRA if Covidity is just chucked into the approvals mix and we have to wait until the August meeting for a decision to be made.

"Why would you run a trial in a country that did not appreciate the potential and offer the fastest route to trial approval".

That statement makes me believe that SAHPRA will be doing the everything they can to analyse the data provided and give the Trial a green light as soon as possible.

I'm hoping that this will be by end July at the very latest, sooner would show that they are giving Covidity maximum priority.

I do feel quite calm about the Covidity Trial it's the MODI 1 Trial that I really want to hear about. I was hoping we would have had an RNS by now, confirming that the trial application was in.

So I'm calm and excited at the same time.....lol

The excellent posts on this one discussion item just goes to show how good a bulletin board can be when everyone contributes politely to the benefit of all.

There would seem to be a very good possibility that Scancell's application will be dealt with promptly by SAHPRA given the urgent need for Covid solutions.

We can all now reign in our expectations of a decision this week. More likely is by the end of July 'ish'.

With the success of winning the first Pharma Services contract ( £1.2m over 18 months ) announced over a month ago I am surprised we have not seen a second contract landed.

I realise these things take time but discussions with other possible pharma clients have had many months to mature.

My initial thoughts were that there would be enough demand for the Pharma Services that a good few contacts would be signed up very soon after the launch.

Was I being to naive ?
