Anything Covid related kind be a big thing. Once Covidity is in a human subject that is a huge step forward.
Knowing how well SCIB1 was tolerated plus all the vigorous testing done at Scancell prior to this application we can be 'fairly' sure that it will pass the safety and dose escalation stage.

Then it's real, the press will make a big thing of it and the herd will arrive knowing that the SP trajectory will be skyward on successful early data.

A universal vaccine is the holy grail at the moment as tailor made mRNA and Viral Vector vaccines may not be the answer longer term.

The better the data the greater the upward pressure on the SP.

All we need now is for Covidity and the Jab Free delivery system to prove that Scancell is the share to own.

When SD said 5-7 weeks for the early exploration assays to be back. Were the Black Hills the first area we drilled and can anyone recall how long we were there and if we returned a week or two later ?

Trying to understand why you would consider a road at this time, seems very early.

The next inflection point for the share price will be 'First Subject Dosed' in SA trial.

That crucial Safety Study sets everything up and is where the reality of Covidity will stir up the herd.

Not that long to go as the safety study could produce good enough data to prove positive in 2 or 3 weeks with the Antibody Respons data some 4 weeks later.

Then I would guess the subjects need to go into the general population to see what responses are to contact with Covid 19.

When Redmile turned up, kind of 'out of the blue' I speculated that the nudge may have come from the Biontech and Genentech/Roche direction so I agree they are strong favourites. Obviously very well known to Scancell and hopefully they have a good rapport with new CEO.

Outside of the obvious are there any global scale pharma companies that failed to launch a Covid Vaccine?

I'm presuming if there are a couple they may what the platforms and not be to shy about what they pay for it.

On the list of Big Pharma that could be very interested in Covidity and Scancells MODI1 / SCIB 1 &2 which ones do we think are :

a ) Most suited to Scancell as a potential long term Partner ?
or
b ) Have missed out on the early stages of the global pandemic and want in on the action ?

According to what SD said the next six weeks drilling update ( 1st Sept ) will be a biggy with 15 cores all stuck in the Assay Labs plus whatever else they deem to release.

It's Newcrest's annual update on the 19th August, so new info on Havieron 'The Mine' is bound to be part of that release.

Plus, SD said our early exploration drill core data could be back from the labs in 5 weeks, fingers crossed, that was a week and a half ago. Possible RNS this month.

What a difference one month could make to the SP.

Only a very nice person would still have the decency to say 'take care' at the end of that post. So you are very highly regarded by myself.

Odd isn't it that a relatively new SCLP poster can be so arrogant and so rude.

Perhaps he is a genius trader making £millions each year or perhaps he's not. I think we can work that out for ourselves.

Main point is that your investment in Scancell is hopefully just about to fulfill the long held promise.
Very exciting next 6 -12 months.

I find Hasiba to be very high handed in his attitude that he knows better than most. I'm glad he has bought a good few shares because it shows he has done his homework and knows Scancell is a very very good investment.

He is also entitled to have his opinion just like everyone else, I just draw the line at his overbearing rudeness, there is no need for it he could quite easily articulate his point of view with a element of respect to the posters that were here when Scancell were in the wilderness.

Let's be fair, he only arrived when Covidity propelled us into the papers and on to both the BBC / Sky.

Finally, you have stuck with SCLP through thick and thin and deserve the rewards heading your way as do all us LTH's.

With all the new jobs created since the Redmile millions arrived I would expect the full employee list to be much higher than 22.

I think crumbs or may have been C7 said a while back that we had 15 / 16 PHD's on the books.

Scancell is gearing up to run three trials and I would expect that when Ph1 data starts to emerge we will have all three trials progressing with a partener for each.

The reason being that each platform will need a good sized Ph2 and possibly large Ph3's.

You would hope every avenue is being used to speed up the process.
Yes, very plausible that the drug is on its way or its already there, we don't know it's all just conjecture.

It is great that things are moving on Covidity but I'm still waiting for the important news on the MODI 1 Trial Application / Approval.

That's why I'm invested in Scancell because when that is proven to have a high clearance rate, that will be the game changer in the fight against cancer.

According to Lindy's statement we already have colleagues in SA.

If the our pathway follows previous urgent Covid trials we will already have a well planned route based on a positive approval outcome.

The hospital's will have been chosen and discussions held, the drug will already be in country and the trial paperwork already being raised.

I would think that the lessons learnt during this pandemic about speeding up all of the processes will be being used.

After last night's mystery of CH's exit this morning's RNS is absolutely fantastic.

The RNS was 'abrupt'.
An out of the blue stepping down of a CEO. No matter which side you fall on, it's positive or its negative, what is important is that the situation is explained more fully at an appropriate time.

A Trial or The Trials are due imminently, MODI 1 application should have been done and Covidity in SA should have been a negotiated priority. We need to hear news on those two at least, then we can judge, was the decision made in haste or out of frustration.

It certainly shows that Scancell is not a sleepy little Bio, obviously a very dynamic place to work. So many platforms to advance, so many potential partners or deals.

Those of us who have tried to grasp the underlying science see the amazing potential once those platforms are tested in the clinic and produce, data, data, data....

It will be very revealing how the market reacts to the news.

To have Lindy up front and centre may be seen as an extremely positive outcome.

As the CEO, Cliff was responsible for agreeing timeframes on all Trials, it would interesting to me to know who set up the SA trial. Given the urgent nature of putting a 2nd generation vaccine through its paces and hopefully present it to CEPI I'm really surprised at the lack of speed / communication of how it's progressing through SAHPRA's application process.

Looks like somebody has decided to go to new pastures. Sell of 175k shares is not anything to concern us but we have not really seen a sell off of that size for a good while.

It is frustrating, we are at the eleventh hour and the news we want to hear is so close. I'm holding tighter than than a Matt Hanc**k clandestine clinch to my shares.
