I've lost count of how many Outstanding Quarterly Reports we have had from Newcrest.

Will Wednesday Night be the 19th or 20th time we told that there is even more gold than we thought and that the materialization is still open in multiple directions including at Depth ?

We have waited quite a while for the MHRA Ethics Committee to sit in judgement of the MODI1 Trial.

It might be that Scancell have chosen a Committee that sits at the end of the month and therefore, with my fingers, toes and eyes crossed, I am hoping we get a decision this week.

There is a huge amount of stock tightly held in private investors hands.

From the Company's Website ( 815,000,000 Shares in Issue ) :
Redmile 29.11%
Vulpes 14.37%
Calculus 5.6%
Directors and Related approx 2.5% with the recent share options.

That leaves around 48% or 391,200,000 shares that are held by us Pi's.

Not a lot of that volume is ever traded so there is the possibility that as a committed group of Pi's the SP could just be in balance between the 'Cash Out's' and the 'Top Ups' at or around 21p / 22.5p.

When Scancell do reach the tipping point ( perhaps it will be on the 'Well Tolerated' RNS ) the fact that the majority seem to be holding very tightly we could see the SP rise dramatically.

Ruck, absolutely a positive outcome on Covidity will be remarkable but its a shared platform and the partners involved are not all in it for the money. A deal with CEPI on a Non-Profit basis may be the outcome of this Covid Vaccine journey.

To me Scancell still = Cancer Vaccines. That is where I want it to "blow the bloody doors off". Excuse the French...

As each day passes from the First Subject dosed RNS ( 5th Oct. ) we can be reassured that there have not been any adverse effects so far.
How many of the 40 initial subjects have actually been injected is not known but 3 weeks will have passed by tomorrow and you would expect the clinic to be able to process 2 or 3 per day with ease. Therefore before we can be confident of any possible deals we need an RNS update saying that all 40 subjects have been dosed and the drug is well tolerated by all.
At that point we can be sure we are heading towards Efficacy Data in 5 months time.

CEPI or a major Pharma Co will be in talks once Covidity looks very likely to deliver what we all hope is an answer to this pandemic. Only thing to keep in mind is that Covidity is not just Scancell's it is a collaboration and as such any resulting profitability will be shared by all involved. I would presume Scancell's Immunobody technology is the backbone of Covidity and as such will command the largest rights to the spoils, what that is I have no idea.

Covidity is not why I'm invested in Scancell, for me the biggest news will be when we hear that MHRA Ethics Committee have given their approval to start the MODI1 Trial.

Juri JV announcement on the 1st September :

Total Targets 9 = Los Diablos 1, Parlay 1, Saddle Reefs 1, Goliath 5 and Outamind 1.

These were the reported results from the first 4 Cores sent to the Labs.
Saddle Reefs Target : 3.5mtrs @ 1.88/t AU from 226.5mtrs
Goliath Target : 1.0mtr @ 1.49/t AU from 651mtrs

The missing 5 cores now due back from the Labs early November :
Los Diablos, Parlay & Saddle Reefs + Sections of Outamind.

Everything is pointing to a significant change in fortunes for Reneuron and therefore us PI investors.

The stage is now set for either an exosomes deal / deals ( with cash up front please ) on the back of the recent 'Proof of Concept' or that the data in the Ph2a Retinitus Pigmentosa trial as seen by Rene is looking very good.

We have not had any recent updates on the CTX programme being run by Fosun Pharma, I am presuming that by now they have actually achieved the necessary approvals to start the CTX trials in China.

These new positions at Scancell Oxford may well be the backbone of a new team to see MODI2, MODI3 and GlycanMabs through the development stages. Plus there are probably other avenues LD already has her eyes on.

They may be picking on me but to be fair, some weekends I do have a Korma......

But whatever, my main thrust is that the FDA ( given they have actually assigned a team to deal with the Angle Submission ) have had a good length of time to be close to a decision. We all know there isn't a defined timescale but you do expect such a submission to be treated in a fair and timely manner.

I'll take a decision in the next 4 weeks no problem but by the end of next week would be very nice also.

As I said 100 Working Days

Angle submitted the necessary data to the 'Additional Information Request' on Friday 4th June which will be 100 working days ago this coming Friday. The reason I bring this up is because that is a significant amount of time to evaluate the Parsortix Device. Adding the pandemic into the mix this is still ample time to investigate, corroborate, correspond and deliberate the decision.

If I'm correct and 100 working days is about enough time to complete all of those tasks we should be very close to the FDA announcing its decision to Angle.

End of the month next Friday ??

'Scancell, which raised £46mln last year to drive its pipeline through clinical trials, now has 1,900 sq ft of laboratory space and 1,800 sq ft of office facilities in Oxford Science Park.

Roughly half of the company's 40 staff are located in the new premises and it said there are plans to recruit additional people to its clinical and product development teams in the next 12 months'.

For all us long time investors / holders this is just fantastic news as it is the start of the expansion phase of Scancell.

For the traders its just costs.........

Any deals at this present time would only include 'Covidity' and that is a large joint venture with Nottingham Uni and The Van Geest Institute. This investment in new office and laboratory space is for the development of Scancell's 100% owned platforms.

We have Moditope about to be approved to start physical trials, Immunobody Clinical Trial approved but stuck at the starting gates and AvidiMab strongly fancied to lock up 2 or 3 deals very soon. Plus now we have Covidity proving up Immunobody and AvidiMab Plus in tackling a virus there must be dozens of worthy research cases to knock out hither to problematic viruses. This sojourn into the Covid Vaccine space is proving up an entire Platform for the future.

These new labs are no only wanted but necessary.

Another Brick in the Wall ............

The process of Baby Bio R&D Co beginning to mature into a Full Bio / Pharma Co is shown both by the gradual expansions in both the size of the scientific team and now the expansion in facilities.

We only know a small fraction of what is happening on the ground at Scancell but these kinds of news releases tell me that everything is moving forward at a pace.

1st October, 'Regulatory Approval for the Continuation of the RP Trial'.

11th October, 'Positive DATA Generated in the Exosome Collaboration'.

18th October, 'First subject treated at Oxford Eye Hospital'.

18th October, 'Catherine Isted has now joined the Company as Chief Financial Officer'.

The fact that we are now treating a patient in the UK as well as the US patients means the trial is becoming more robust in terms of different teams producing the clinical data. Next RNS will hopefully be 'First Patient treated in Spain'.

We have a 52 week high of £ 1.52.

Having been told on :

1st October, 'Regulatory Approval for the Continuation of the RP Trial'.

11th October, 'Positive DATA Generated in the Exosome Collaboration'.

And the SP is £ 1.165 / share. Share Sentiment on AIM has no logic to it.
Both pieces of news are positive even though the RP Trial Read Out is now delayed its still good news that the regulators have given the trial the all clear and recruitment can now continue in time for a March DATA RNS.

The exosomes news has had a ridiculously muted response but will prove in time to be 'the' pivitol news of 2021.
Deals will now arrive and the mechanics of making those deals happen will be in full motion while the SP is dragged down by AIM traders. As I've said before, if RENE was a US Biotech the SP would be in the 10's of dollars already.
