For the true value of Covidity to be known the 40 subjects will need to circulate in the general population and be infected by Covid19. Only when that has happened to several in the group will they be able to statistically project the % of cover and any protection given against Omicron. If by Christmas they can analyse many blood samples they will be able to see the effects Covidity is having on the Spike and the Nucleocapsid. If these are very positive then surely Scancell can seek extra backing to step up the whole trial process.

I am just pondering the question of whether Scancell have to keep all their ongoing findings under wraps or can they indicate any positive findings, or at the very least appraise the UK Government of the potential. It would be very stupid to allow a large biotech from another country to swoop in, gain control and then sell the vaccine to the US or elsewhere. Surely a working 2nd Gen. Universal Vaccine should be backed by our own government money to keep it as a UK success.

I realise trials have to run their course but under these pandemic circumstances non-life threatening short cuts should be pursued.

Lets suppose that all 40 trial subjects have been recruited since FPD on the 5th October. Second dose after 29 days = early November.

Questions : If all 40 have received their 2nd doses by end November, When would Scancell know internally that the Antibodies are attaching to the spike proteins as expected and When would they be able to detect the emergence of 'T' Cells targeting infected Cells ?

The full trial is over 6 months meaning the official read out would be April / May, but as with the Oxford Vaccine could the data be 'part read' early ?

There have been a few large sells, one today for 250k @ 19.2p. Either someone expecting the SP to fall and buy back in or an impatient trader perhaps. The news that MHRA Ethics past the trial back in October was very positive for me as I began to fear it was being stalled. Now that we know the first patient will be dosed in the next few days or weeks is fantastic to hear.

I have always had faith that LD and her team are in the Premier League of Bio Science and knowing how well SCIB1 Phase 1 Trial did. That successful demonstration of Immunobody gave me all the assurance I needed to believe in ModiTope being a fantastic breakthrough when battling with cancers. My honest hope is that the coming trials are very successful, of course because our investment will pay off but even more importantly there will be a new and powerful way to deal with cancer sufferers.

For reference the two 100k Trades at 13:29pm are transferring shares into my ISA.

With the news that's been revealed this week its a 'no brainer' to took away as many as possible into a tax free Stocks and Shares ISA. If I was young enough I'd be loading up a SIPP as well.

That new video of the Oxford Laboratories says to me that the aim is now to create a company to rival BionTech.
All the years of talking about when we get into the clinic and produce positive data, how it will transform Scancell, well its happening in front of our eyes and on a daily basis. Its been a long journey but I would not have missed any of it especially the window of time we had to buy at 5p, that was a fantastic opportunity if you were able to make use of it.

My feeling is that this current 20p a share will look amazingly cheap once the data starts to be RNS'd throughout 2022.

I could not be any happier with yours and the other reports from the AGM. So many items we have all discussed having some light shone over them. MODI1 already passed by the Ethics Committee in October ( just as Berm suggested ) sneaky Scancell keeping everything under wraps, no big song and dance just solid progress on all fronts. I scanned over the presentation slides and will study in detail later tonight but didn't notice anything on Zakari.

Was anything mentioned about Zakari or any questions asked at the AGM ?

I'm convinced that there isn't a 'post' to be pipped at. The modality ( as CH would say ) that Scancell have painstakingly researched and developed has no competitors that could corner the market and prevent us being a success.
The platforms we have, Immunobody, Moditope, AvidiMab etc etc just have to prove themselves in the clinic to be effective and safe. Covidity could be still 12 to 18 months away from being 'Phase III proven' but still be a blockbuster if it is an actual Universal Vaccine giving the coverage and protection we all hope for.

We are now so close to having those platforms proven in the clinic. I must admit though, I will be so glad when the MODI 1 Trial gets underway, the gap since the CTA approval has been much longer than any of us would have anticipated.

I posted this a few weeks ago,

"MHRA Ethics Committee must meet at some point in 2021 and with Scancells stated optimism that the MODI1 Trial will start in 2021 I am still hopeful that the Approval lands very soon. Just prior to the AGM would be preferable".

I think it was Bermudashorts who pointed out the Scancell are not under any regulatory need to RNS the Ethics Committee Approval but it is Scancell that stated in the CTA approval on the 26th August :

'The Company expects to enrol patients into the study in H2 21, following ethics committee sign-off.'

So they do expect a 'Sign Off' and I expect a note from the company that the Trial has been given a green light.

If we still have no news by next Tuesday morning on the current status of the MODI1 Ph.I/II Trial, it would be prudent for the BOD to make a statement on the subject at the AGM. As a shareholder I want to know why 12 weeks have passed since the 'Clinical Trial Application' approval, with no news about the trial start on the most important platform created by Scancell.

Totally agree that Scancell is still flying well below the radar. Our time will come as the Data proves out what we have long believed. The one thing that has always anchored me to Scancell is the science and the science has been validated in peer review paper after paper.
The collaborations with top level institutions have always shown that Prof Durrant really is a world expert in the field of Immuno-Oncology. Her and her teams depth of understanding of how that micro world signals and interacts, has lead to some fundamental understandings and platforms we as long time investors take for granted.

Most of the outside world do not have a Scooby Doo of what is possible given that the data when it arrives, shows positive in human outcomes.

I said at the time, why would you not buy as much as you could when Scancell was at 5.5p a share.

One good result and the current 20p is also a bargain price.

'Scancell is planning to increase the value of this rich pipeline of products through the generation of early-stage clinical data, either alone or in combination with strategic partners. Since the year-end, the Company has also set up a non-trading, dormant company, Zakari Therapeutics Limited which is a 100 percent owned subsidiary of Scancell Limited'.

The AGM is the perfect and proper time to inform all Shareholders as to what was the motivation of creating a dormant trading company and is it still a viable strategy.

Was it formed to split out a part of Scancells technology, if so which Platform ?

Was the strategy so ill conceived that CH had to go ?

Is there a well developed partnership deal with a large Pharma Company waiting for 'AvidiMab Proof of Concept / Data' and then Zakari will be needed to split out that platform ?

Or is Zakari Therapeutics Ltd all about separating Covidity from Immunobody and ModiTope ?

These are very important questions that we have the rights to know .

The AGM in not quite 3 weeks, with two possible news items that could arrive at any time. Hopefully prior to the AGM.

The AGM in its self is a traders 'Buy on Rumour, Sell on News' opportunity, but there is the possibility that these news worthy items could inject some momentum into the SP that will hold beyond the predictable sell off around the 23rd.

Covidity first Subject Dosed now + 29 days means the 2nd Dose can now be given. We don't know if all forty subjects will have received their 1st doses but the lack of any Adverse Effects being reporting bodes very well. If we do not hear via an RNS hopefully we will be given some clarity at the AGM.

As for confidence, Vulpes 300k buys again shows their complete faith in Scancell and they are letting us know everything is going smoothly.

This is all underpinning the SP at the moment and the more we hear from Scancell before and during the AGM the better.

Just a point that some people may not fully appreciate.

If Newcrest 'could or wanted' to takeover GGP and they could achieve that at say 40p per share, that would cost them 4.2B x £0.40 = £1.68B.

If the Havieron Mine has a minimum of round 20million ounces and the average price over the next 50 years is only £2,000 / Ounce, that means the value of GGP's 30% would have been worth £12B. Due to inflation that gold price I've used might be only half of the actual.

The point being that there are long term attractive economics that make this current manipulation very worthwhile.

Don't let them loosen your grip on your shares 'Hold on Tight for Gold'.

If I remember correctly it was muted that the RP data would be delivered during a presentation at the AAO or another conference, this was said prior to the RP trial delay.

The pushing back of the CLN's to 2025 is in one way just good housekeeping now that the true potential and timelines are plain for all to see. I think the 'Slipping Timelines' issue is just convenient negative spin.

What if there are some meaningful discussions taking place over Covidity, those CLN's maturing in just 12 months would constitute a hurdle to a major Pharma or maybe even the terms that CEPI would seek. There is such a lot we don't know about the wider interest in Scancell all I know is that this Poundland Baby Bio is growing up fast and the foundations are all being put in place for what comes with positive Data ( Covidity, MODI1, SCIB1, AvidiMab or GlycanMabs ).

A badly written proposition. The point I was making is that at the time of the deal being agreed the decision didn't allow for the delays caused by the pandemic. Plus the concept of the Covidity Vaccine was just that 'a concept'. Redmile would seek the earliest practical date to protect their investment, now they know for sure that Scancell have some worthwhile technology platforms they are being sensible about the CLN Conversion date.

Been out all day so only just had chance to digest the RNS and all the comments on the board.

For me nothing changes regarding the Covidity Trial or the MODI 1 Trial or even the SCIB1 / Keytruda Trial.
Todays announcement shows me that Redmile are backing Scancell right up to a Phase 3 deal with a major Pharma.

They all know that the original 2022 deadline for the CLN's is now to restrictive given that the end date was agreed pre-Pandemic.

This is excellent news for Investors like myself who want to see Phase 1 and Phase 2 cancer vaccine trial Data from Scancell before any major deals are struck. The SP fall is an over reaction to the negative from those concluding that it only means 'time delays'. Well it doesn't, it only points to Redmile being even more convinced that Scancells Technologies are the real deal.

Final results tomorrow, Covidity update 'Well Toleranced RNS' and MHRA Ethics Committee Approval both due any day.

Lets see what tomorrow brings.
