Modi1 plus the double checkpoint is a hugely significant step forward. The single CPi has shown some promise from the details we’ve been given by Scancell but not the depth of action inside the tumours that we’ve seen in the SCOPE Trial.

I have no doubt that once the first patient is dosed we will be told.

I honestly think that if a positive piece of news lands very soon, it will massively bolster this change in sentiment towards Scancell’s Market Valuation and help solidify the current gains and then reach beyond 20p.

It would appear that whatever the goal was for buying millions of shares in the open market has ( for the moment) been achieved.

Some Modi1 data or Early news from iSCIB+ first scans or even 1st patient dosed in the Modi1 + doubled checkpoint would do the job. Anything solid and positive that adds to the excellent progress already made by Scancell.

There is a very good chance that the MM’s oversold last week and can now claw back both balance and profits.

Considering the rise to 19.74p I’m thinking that anything in the mid 16’s or even 17p is probably going to turn into a profit on the very next RNS. Which will likely be from the ModiFY Trail.

‘No News’ is the crux of this current rise to 19.5p. As soon as the buyer who created that rise stopped adding it was inevitable that the SP would take a breather and fall back.

At 10p a share the market cap was £92.7m when it reached 19.5p the market cap was £180m. That’s a huge jump without any news to back it up.

If the private investor selling continues on Monday and runs into Tuesday I would expect our buyer to reappear and mop up everything as the price re-rises to 19p.

Why because they bought 1.2 million shares at 19p to 19.5p on one day.

I also think we only have this coming week and probably the week after before trial news is imminent.

Any positive outcomes in the Modi1 trial will also keep the market sentiment, positive.

As I pointed out earlier this week, there is a lot of Modi1 data that could land anytime. We have been promised that news would be released in Q3/24. We are now mid way through that Quarter.

So news in the next 10 days is likely.

We’ve seen weeks of daily buys around the 500k mark, a flourish yesterday of around 1.2million.

Have they finally achieved their goal or will we see a continued hoovering up of any shares given up without a fight.

Nothing wrong in taking a profit but if it is their goal to gather another 2 or 3% then 18.65p is too early an exit in my book.

It will be very telling if a group of black trades roll up like buses this afternoon.

While the SCOPE Trial is centre stage let’s not forget that we have the ModiTope Basket trial which must be bursting with presentable early data.

What cohort news should we expect from a Q3/24 Update :

1 ) Mono-therapy

2 ) Modi1 + CPi 1st Full Data Report

3 ) Modi1 - Harvested Moditope T Cells as requested by BionTech.

4 ) Modi1 + CPi in Renal Cancer Upgraded to a 1st Line Treatment : Requested but are we still Awaiting Approval

5 ) Modi1 + Duplet of CPi’s : Awaiting 1st Patient Dosed RNS in the newly approved cohort in Renal Cell Carcinoma.

6 ) Neo-Adjuvant Arm where the resected tumour is analysed for the Ingress and Impact of the ModiTope generated ‘T’Cells.

ModiFY is a very diverse Trial with many possible trajectories. In Mono-therapy and also with a Single Checkpoint, what impact has been seen in Patient Outcomes.

Balerno2 thanks for your assessment and your keeping tabs on the potential purchase volumes. 28 million shares is a very large pile to buy in the open market.

Why 7 ? That is a very peculiar number of months.

Is it because that coincides perfectly with the iSCIB+ Data being ready, January 2025 ?

Is it because Modi1 is due an update report across all functions of the ModiFy Trial by end 2024?

This current accumulation is not being done on a wing and a prayer, it feels very tied to all of the above .

Is it for a quick 20% / 30% profit ( most unlikely ), is it a fund ( as has been suggested ) that wanted to buy a piece of the pie directly from Scancell, that only has the open market to build that stake, or could it be a potential partner in the Registration Trial taking an early long term position.

The relentless nature of these 500k buys means that there is extreme confidence that Scancells future is only positive.

The Market Makers are definitely in control of the pace that the SP rises.

Even in the face of 1m or 1.5m total buys per day they are not letting up on this tight and deliberate

I thought it would take until this Friday to breach 20p but looking at this mornings trades there is a very fair chance we will at least see one buy at that level or higher today.

There are buyer’s out there with some serious hots for ‘Poundland Bio’ Scancell.

As soon as funding allows Modi2 will enter a clinical trial. It will not happen until the second half of next year because the priorities for the company are The SCOPE Registration Trial and progressing Modi1.

My take on Modi2 is that Scancell already have a clear intention to take it into clinical trials and they know where that funding is likely to come from.

scancell has identified ****citrullinated epitopes derived from several proteins, including vimentin, aldolase, cytokeratin 8, immunoglobulin binding protein (bip), nucleophosmin (npm), α-enolase and heat shock protein (hsp-60), all of which generate potent t cell responses in preclinical models. evidence exists for all of these proteins having a link to a wide range of cancer types:

colon cancer, renal cell carcinoma, colorectal cancer, breast cell carcinomas, melanomas, pancreas, prostate, liver, colon, stomach and thyroid.

scancell has been able to demonstrate that anti-carbamylated t cell responses can be stimulated against these proteins and that these can mediate potent anti-tumour therapy. a short list of specific ****citrullinated peptides have now been selected for clinical development as the modi-2 vaccine, that have the potential to address different cancer indications to modi-1, including tumours with a particularly immunosuppressive environment.

They will have to shake very hard to dislodge any of my shares.

Cancer Vaccines are now being taken very serious and Scancell’s results ( so far ) show that their science / technology is working extremely well.

Immunobody and Moditope are on their way to becoming very disruptive platforms in multi $Billion cancer treatment markets.

Watch the Market Cap, £250M = 26p.

With very positive results when the data is released a £500M MCap is not a ridiculous target given the size of those potential markets.

I still think we can move passed 20p by next Friday.

I think we are in the early stages of taking Modi2 into the clinic. No stopping the Scancell train……..

At this point we have only seen approx 16 to 18 of those 500k trades. We don’t know if it’s just one buyer but if it is then we can guess that they are very close to having a 1% holding. Let’s hope they do intend to gather a few more percent before any data RNS’s are released.

Over 1 million shares bought at 17:0p including another 500k top up by our mystery collector.

That group of black trades all at 17p shows that there is plenty of enthusiasm for Scancell stock and there is still a way to go on this current rise ( before news lands ).

The SP’s direction of travel is steadily upwards and if it continues we could easily breach 20p by the end of next week.

What would be very helpful is a gentle nudge from Scancell, it won’t need to be earth shattering, just a quick update on Modi1 Renal Cell Carcinoma 1st patients scan result and a doing very well note or even iSCIB+ well tolerated as we move towards meaningful scanned numbers.

Simple but reassuringly positive news.

That will certainly keep up the momentum towards 30p.

We can’t say for absolute fact that the share price will take off, but from everything we have heard and read from Scancell, especially the tone, we can be sure the SP is primed.

I would agree that you have picked a very good spot to double up. Many of the long term investors in Scancell like myself have bought some shares in the past that were in the 20p to 24p range. There will be a collective sigh of relief once the 20p mark has been reached and left behind for good.

Last thing, Scancell will have some early data across both trials that they could release if it becomes necessary. If the SP continues in its steady rise I would expect them to keep the data in house and have a big reveal in the weeks before the AGM.

Very exciting times and not that long to wait and find out just how impressive those Modi1 plus CPi results are.
