Thank you, I think it’s beneficial to know as much as possible with such complicated trials.

I’ve said this before but it’s worth repeating.

Scancells technology / science is absolutely cutting edge. Cancer vaccines are the new kids on the block and as such the onus is on companies like Scancell to prove without doubt that they can work.

The patients who are coming forward for the SCOPE & Modify trials are very poorly and have been through the best treatments there is on offer by the NHS and still their prognosis is bleak. These stage 3 and 4 tumours are the greatest challenge that science is trying to tackle. The fact that Scancell is making headway in both the SCOPE and ModiFY trials shows that this approach is capable of delivering dramatic change in the future.

We know that the data we are waiting for is still a few months away and It does feel like it forever moves just far enough away to both ensure that we hold tight but compounds our frustration.

I reassured myself by keeping track of the trial timescales so I can anticipate when enough scan data will have been collected and those anticipated RNS’s will finally be released.

Every day that passes brings that data closer and closer. My hope is that iSCIB+ and parts of the Modi1 Mono, Single CPI, Neo-Adjuvant and an update on the Double CPI cohorts will have arrived prior to this years AGM.

If it’s all good and positive news, it will ensure that the AGM will have a fantastic atmosphere.

The Moditope Trial is a ‘Basket Trial’ and this means that many investigations are happening at the same time. I will try to paint a broad picture of where we currently are and where we are heading but the timings of when the data will be ready is uncertain. We do need Scancell to do an update across all aspects of this trial.

Mono-therapy cohort results :

1 ) Breast Cancer - Mainly Stable.

2 ) Ovarian Cancer - Some Partial but again Mainly Stable.

3 ) Renal Cancer - Some good results.

4 ) Head & Neck - Some good results and there was the case of the patient whose tumour regressed quickly in the very early stage of treatment but unfortunately the cancer overcame this early attack and began to progress as fast as it had reduced.

This highlights the complexity of these mature and bulky tumours.

Modi1 plus a Single CPI :

Breast Cancer - Standard of Care is Single CPI plus Chemo, so is not suitable for our Trial.

Ovarian Cancer - there is no Standard of Care that includes a Checkpoint. So not suitable for our Trial.

Renal Cancer plus Single CPI - We are limited to being a 3rd Line Treatment and to increase the possibility of successful treatment with Modi1 Scancell have requested approval to move up the treatment pecking order to a 1st Line Treatment. We await approval.

Head & Neck - to be honest I’m not sure where we are with regards to Modi1 plus CPI, all I know is that there is a cohort being treated. If anyone has some further insight please advise.

Neo- Adjuvant Cohort :

End of January we had just dosed our 2nd patient with Modi1 + CPI. The trail consists of 30 patients in total.

15 Checkpoint Inhibitor Only.

15 Checkpoint Plus Modi1.

After 6 weeks the tumours are resected and then analysed to see if the Moditope generated ‘T’ Cells are ingressing deeply into the tumours. This Cohort should be completed by Q3/24. Results probably not until early Q4/24.

A new Cohort was approved at the end of May 24 in Renal Cell Carcinoma where the Standard of Care is a Duplex of Checkpoint Inhibitors. This is the first cohort in the Moditope Trial to use a Double Checkpoint.

44 patients in the cohort and “data expected from Modi1 plus CPI’s late in 2024’.

Due to the way recruitment in our trials is affected by patient suitability we cannot determine exactly when the important data will be available.

However we can make educated guesses and at the moment that is the best we can do.

SCIB1 + 2 CPI’s has been slowed by the exacting selection process and many patients, unfortunately, having to be rejected. If the ORR can be held at around 80% then we need scanned and verified results from a minimum of 34 patients. Based on 27 enrolled at the end of May we probably won’t see this minimum of 27 out of 34 result until late October. Sooner if suitable recruitment is now being achieved more quickly.

iSCIB+ our first patient will have reached their 13 week scan in the last two weeks. We are told that recruitment is going very well. Now, we could be told how the early data is shaping up similar to the SCIB1 RNS ( 11 out of 13 ) sometime around mid September but Scancell may determine that it would be better ( maybe due to NDA’s ) not to reveal early results and hold off for the full cohort reveal.

Simplifying those guesses means :

SCIB1 : if the ORR is still above 80% could report in Q4/24 if it drops to say 75% it will be Q1/25.

iSCIB+ could report early data end of Q3/24

but more likely to be released in Q4/24 in the weeks before the AGM.

We know that the GlyMab exclusive evaluation will complete in January 2025 so news on that front may happen before the end of Jan 25.

I will see what info we have on Moditope later today and try to put some rough guide on those cohort’s.

I must point out that all these dates are my best guesses. Also, Scancell love catching us all out with ‘left of field news’. 👍

When I read the RNS first thing this morning I thought that paying Redmile £500k on the 5th July was parting with a deep chunk of our precious cash pile.

Then I remembered, we have just received $1m for a 7 month exclusive look at our GlyMab Platform.

So that was nice 👍

Cancer Vaccines are on the verge of becoming frontline treatments and Scancell is one of the pioneers.

Patents in place, deep into two trials, low or no toxicity and data so far has only been positive.

Plus, it probably means that the ORR in whatever number of patients have reach their 13 week scans, is still well over 70%,

Maybe still over 80%.

Everything about this decision is positive and extremely good commercial management of the business going forwards.

This RNS is absolutely positive.

It takes the CLN’s out of the picture if and when Scancell begin discussing a sale or partnership of the Immunobody Platform.

It takes pressure off having to do a deal or seek finance in the next 12 months.

It sets up the Registration Trial as a ‘go it alone’ prospect. If a buyer steps forward the price will now be a multiple of what it could have been if Redmile want their money back in November 2025.

It also tells me that what they have seen so far in the iSCIB+ cohort is the same or better that SCIB1.

Just recently we’ve had news that a large biotech / pharma has agreed to pay $1m to have an exclusive 7 month period to evaluate one of our GlyMabs or maybe more than one, maybe the platform. We don’t know the exact details but that’s quite a chunk of cash just to gazump the opposition.

Then on Sunday the Government Clinicals website was update for the SCOPE trial, adding iSCIB+ and showing more clinical site open and a few new sites added.

That shows that those oncology units have been impressed enough by results being achieved elsewhere to now offer Scancells technology to their unresectable melanoma cancer patients.

Then there was a huge purchase of shares last thing on Monday, 900,000 shares @ 11p ( £99k ). That’s not an insignificant amount of money being spent to take a position in Scancell. That buy was 0.1% of the stock ( discounting Redmiles CLN’s ).

Other than those items, the weather is great, England have cruised into the KO stage of the European Cup and our politicians are talking very positively about the future. Well maybe a couple of those last items are exaggerated, a bit 🤣🤣

Let’s hope that this is the start of new money taking early positions in Scancell. As the credibility builds through clinical teams talking to each other, the actual trial results will only add even more positivity.

We will soon know if the word is out as we will see more of these hefty trades in the coming days.

If we don’t it was just a ‘Lone Ranger’ with a wad of cash taking a £99,000.00 punt.

Just thinking about the timing of that 13week scan and the opening of some more sites. Could it be that they were just awaiting some confirmation from Scancell that iSCIB+ was just as toxicity free and as potent as SCIB1 at that first patient, first scan ?

That does seem plausible.

Strongest signal yet that cancer specialists at our most prestigious hospitals are giving the SCOPE trial the green light.

Not necessary for an RNS to be released because it’s just part of the trials evolution.

However, it means that any doubts that remained have now melted away due to the strength of the results being achieved by other already open clinics.

Top clinicians don’t like to miss out on the newest , smartest and most powerful therapy’s.

All building very nicely.

When the data arrives and if it’s in keeping with the early 85% ORR we will know what big pharma think of iSCIB+.

I’ve not read every post but there is a heck of a lot of angst in ones I did read.

It’s probably a case of Vision and Reality causing bluster and accusations.

That person needs to chill out for a few months until the data arrives.

That was a very positive and direct post.

Scancell are definitely on the way towards upsetting the apple cart. We could become a disruptive force in an otherwise well ordered and profitable space for some very large biotechs.

Even more important is the improvements Scancell could bring to a number of cancer settings. The sooner the better, so more lives can be improved or even saved.

I will be so happy once the data is released and it’s positive enough to start moving the share price above 20p. Once we move passed that figure with momentum we will certainly on the way towards your £1 prediction.

I put Scinv into the filter green bin and missed most of the post but seeing the post by DeAar I decided to read what was being said.

I just want to point out that when Lindy mentioned 27 patients immunised I’m sure that was in reference to the SCOPE trial as a whole. SCIB1 plus iSCIB+.

I also think it’s a big US Biotech as it fits their MO. Gazump the opposition to gain full control of the situation.

We’ll find out in January 🤔

So the ‘Leading Biotech’ in 2023 could be the ‘Major Biotech’ in June 2024.

If it is was same one then that’s 11 months evaluation plus a further 7 months. I’m not convinced because Lindy did say there were several interested parties and one was looking for exclusivity.

I’m wondering if it was one particular Mab or a Target that was wanted by two or more Biotechs. 🤔

If that’s the case there could still be ongoing negotiations with the other companies.

Just an observation but would appreciate a discussion on this.

Twelve months ago we were informed that there was an agreed 6 month evaluation by a leading Biotech company ( 10th July 2023 - RNS : Pipeline strategy and business update) .

Now we have a 7 month exclusive evaluation with a Major Biotech which is costing them $1m for the privilege.
