Good Afternoon Gentlemen, I'm sure we're all pinching ourselves that it's 13p to 52p & a market value of $450 million on No news other than FIDs delayed so I have decided to finally monetize this Gift Horse.

The rise,on absolutely nothing, has been meteoric and my expectation is that FID will be delayed again as I cannot see NAV raising the $1.4 Billion at this moment in time, of course, I could be wrong and that's absolutely fine.

I shall return at the end of June or whenever the next delay is announced to discuss & decide my next moves with my followers.

and there is no chance of that because putin is playing the west like a fiddle, he's dragging everyone along pretending he wants peace when in reality he will only accept , what would be pretty much, unconditional surrender of ukrainian forces, demilitarisation of ukraine, denazification of ukraine/no nato membership & no nato countries troops in ukraine & full control of the four regions, which, of course, ukraine will not accept so there is no point in talks at this time as they are both not ready yet and far away from any agreements.

russia is on the front foot on the battlefield and has stated the west must stop all military aid to ukraine before any ceasefire can be considered and the west is continuing its aid so there is no real ground for a ceasefire or peace at the moment and that's why vance said they are a 'long way 'off peace the other week.

one things for sure, putins playing the us & the europeans like a fiddle and they both need to man up & give him a real ultimatum with real consequences- instead of ***** footing around trying to please him.

russia's terms for peace are outrageous and totally unacceptable and they are getting well above their posts now that the us is falling over itself to help russia accept some favourable peace terms.

so this latest attempt by the us & europe at a ceasefire is sadly also a lost cause because rather than make ukraine military strong before any peace talks, the us played right into russia's hands by saying the don't want to fund this european war, they should not have played this hand before peace talks, it was a bad & naive move from the us and russia has capitalised on it by seeking the harshest peace terms possible on ukraine.

Gentlemen,what a truly amazing and most welcome rise this has been over the last 4 months on no tangible news other than FID has been delayed.

How The Rock rose from 13p to 50p on a delay is truly unbelievable but I'm really pleased it did. Holders will know that there was no rise up to the Dec 24 FID and then they announced FIDs delayed till June 25 and the shares have risen 300% on this news.

Its Absolutely Brilliant and i'm still pinching myself at such a meteoric rise on nothing but a delay and one could now reasonably argue the current $350mln mkt cp is fair value or perhaps more than fair value- considering there is not yet any funding secured for the project, which is due for its second Nav FID target in around 8 weeks, although others may argue its still cheap and more multi-bags are coming,which may well be, or not be, the case.

One thing's for sure, the market has really got behind Rockhopper and one can never underestimate just how high a story like Sea LIon, that has captivated the market ,can be pushed but in the absence of any real news the $350mln valuation is not secure so its up to each investor to decide how this most welcome and significant capital gain should be managed.

Russia were never going to agree a ceasefire whilst Ukrainian troops were in Kursk, this is now no longer the case and although Putin will play hardball on any deal, he 'will 'make a deal because he isn't stupid and he knows he has an excellent opportunity presented by the US to end this war pretty much on winning terms on almost all conditions.

This may not be the case with the next American government so Putin will accept a peace deal whilst he can.

Putin will then have sanctions lifted and be able to come back into the fold and slowly resume normal relations with the western powers just as Germany did after WW2.

Of course, putting daily/weekly targets on a peace deal like Trump does is folly but it will happen and I suspect soon because at some point, if there's no tangible progression, Trump will walk away and wash his hands of Putin and that's something Putin does not want nor will let happen as he's too intelligent and savvy to let this US opportunity pass him by.
