This is the Eua thread Gecko so we're here to discuss all things Eua related and Terrorism isn't really one of them so try to remain focused on Eua related matters as there should be a few interesting points to discuss soon with the Kazak listing & upcoming 3rd round peace talks on Ukraine, which should be announced this week.

For me, its a good time to accumulate in this quiet period before the upcoming events but few will take advantage as most aim players are more comfortable buying a rising share than a falling one.Not me though, as long as nothing has fundamentally changed and it hasn't , then I'm happy to buy a share when its getting cheaper - rather than dearer as long as the prospects remain the same, which here at Eua, they not only remain the same but are actuallly much better than at any other time in the last 3.5 years since the SMO began.

Once I have completed my accumalation of the lows, I simply sit back & patiently await the arrival of the herd and watch them pump up the price for me 🤑.I have done this 3 times here already this year and made decent money trading the new found activity that Peace Talks have brought.

So I buy the lows, trade a large portion on any rises and retain a small portion for any potential news. Its simple, like all good plans 👌

Magsey, there will be 600k deployed and when they lose 50k they will deploy another 50k etc so they have a constant 600k deployed so as to maintain sufficient force to achieve their goals and maintain positions.

As for the number of casualties, only the Russians will know - so quoting any sources( especially western ones) is pure folly as they simply don't know.

We are nowhere near WW3, the US strike on Iran was measured and has little to no chance of escalating to WW3.

Trump & Putin are best of buddies now so we are much safer now than we were under the Biden administration who were actively seeking confrontation with Russia by escalating a war that had nothing to do with them.

So calm down Gecko and focus on Eua instead of WW3 as things could get quite interesting here over the coming months.

A date for the 3rd round of peace talks is expected to be announced next week and this round will be much more interesting than the 2 preliminary ones where only draft terms & prisoner's were exchanged.

Ukraine lost over 600 square kilometers in May and are in retreat along vast swathes of the front so unfortunately they have only two options, accept Russias terms now or continue to resist and lose more of your country with harsher terms.

Unfortunately, that's the reality of the Ukrainan position, of course, its not fair and just and the terms are pretty much capitulation terms but the alternative is to refuse and lose even more of your country with even harsher terms at a later date.

Ukraine is between and Rock & a Hard place, the US have left them and Europe has minuscule ordinance to give so can they realistically do anything other than accept Russia's harsh terms ?

It should also be noted that the country of Ukraine is on a full war footing, whereas Russia has only deployed a small 600k force for this SMO, which is a tiny fraction of the 25mln plus manpower they could muster on a full war footing so Ukraine is only delaying the inevitable & losing more of its country every day it refuses to accept Russia's terms.

I think they will reluctantly accept Russias harsh terms as there is no other realistic option for them and the 4 /5th meeting will be attended by Putin & Zelensky to sign peace terms.

As for you thinking SL is not in disputed waters, think again because as regulars know and newbies don't , Rock contacted 100 companies to farm in to SL and received one reply ( PMO), Big Sams words not mine, regulars also know of this, newbies like you don't.

Now had SL not been in disputed waters, Rocks door would have been smashed down by companies wanting to farm in and SL would have already been producing for 10 years so think again about whether SLs in disputed waters or not now you are aware of these facts.

Don't get me wrong, totally agree Rock's in the best position its been in years but it seems SL is going on the back burner as they prioritise Shenandoah .

Also, Shendoah is being expanded between 25/28, so with $1.4Bln required for SL on top,it does seem a bridge to far to fund on that modest 50kproduction.

More likely is, a smaller project for SL to open the basin, say 20kbopd. That way less funding is required and the cashflow will then help expand production.

So perhaps one more FID attempt, then a reduced opener or simply a reduced opener which would nevertheless be good news for Rockhopper shareholders.

Ralph, they won't drop SL, its a gift for them, they got it for absolutely nothing and so they'd be stupid to drop it but they may kick the can down the road PMO style if they cannot secure the funding due to being overleveraged and trying to fund a project in disputed waters. The Rockhopper Director already stated many funders will not entertain projects in disputed waters so it was already difficult to fund beforehand so with Navitas having no track record and looking at a paltry 50k bopd to service a potential $2.4 Billion debt, its not difficult to see why funding is, as the Rockhopper Director himself said, the biggest impediment to FID.
