Toffee, ref how far off, I have no idea. I just questioned where theMarl got the 72hrs shut in from, unless he is getting confused with the wells flowing simultaneously for 72hrs before the Foil RNS.

And I am pretty certain, in fact positive that both well currently aren't "shut in".

Not sure about FOil, quite possibly start the 72hrs flowing both wells this weekend, which could mean news on Tuesday, but I think it will be later on in the week, Just my opinion. - It is more likely that someone spots some flaring soon (possibly this weekend or early next week) on the Warwick Deep Well, also just my opinion.

To your question about First Oil being priced in, in think not, and think we will see a good rise on FOil news, although that may be a bit of bias kicking in as I have a decent wedge in here. I also hope that the Foil RNS includes some info on some of the testing that has been done, flow rates for the wells etc.

I suspect that success on Warwick Deep, may give us a very decent rerate in the SP, more so than First Oil.

Let's hope for a Red Sky WoS this weekend, just above the TL. Have a good Bank Holiday Weekend all, next week could be interesting.

Just send the list of your proposed AGM questions to Ben next week, the chances are he will or should be able to answer most if them, if not then he will pass them on to the Bod that are attending - that way they can either Anwar them in the presentation. JIMO

AK, - "Plateau or slump a bit towards the end of the year" - that's an intersting view point, and I appreciate and respect that its your own opinion. - If anything I though the SP would do the opposite, the Lancaster Wells will be ongoing and results from them expected right up until year end. The EPS will have collected enough data to hopefully prove any long term production doubts, and it is towards the end of the year that, IMO, we are most likely to see a early TO bid or farm-out, so FOMO may play a part amongst PIs at least. Also news on the next 3 2020 GWA Drills will be known by then, and work started on the Tie-back to one of the current GWA wells that are being drilled, and work started on the WOSP gas solution.
Just my opinion of course.

Capel, wishful thinking, IMO the mdest rise is due to Foil being a week or 2 away at most and hopefully we see the SP into the 60s before the official announcement - It seems that obviously FOilwasn't priced in as some would have had us believe at 40p. I do think that the ongoing Drill (Warwick Deep) will have a very positive effect on the SP as well when good news has been released or the Flare spotted - we shall see.

Thanks again all for your views and replies to my original question regarding views on the directors selling shares - as I said at the time it was a Red Light for me, and although I do not think that was the reason for this drop, it certainly saved me from jumping in 30% higher than the current SP. I am looking again at the SP where it is now with a view to a decent entry price, but interested in any links to the "rumour" of the postponement on the cadmium ban, and if substantiated - thoughts on how this will adversely impact the SP going forward.

And if you are correct, then it has happened and they must have brought the plant back on line pretty quickly as the flare is still going strong this evening.

Santiago, you may be correct, but not sure that they will have a full shut down just after opening the taps, maybe initiate a YSD, but full blow down - not so sure. The insurers will already have signed off most if not all the Safety Critical Systems and the Rugulator will leave them along for a while before their first visit. All IMO, but I may be wide of the mark here.
