The single well result alone justifies a much higher SP/MC add the other drill ready well and this is looking really exciting. But as I posted a few weeks back (before the well test), the big game changer that will move the SP to many many multiples of where it is today will be proving the gas potential of the play.

Thanks Ak, Sounds about right although I doubt that they will not dump the clean up fluids overboard after treatment, this mixture will go directly which will include the Meg - Ethylene Glycol from the flowlies and will go directly into one of the AMs tanks and then offloaded to a tanker.
Battle, my simplistic understanding is that all systems will be tested, then the vessels/Top sides (that will eventually contain hydrocarbons) will purged with Diesel and inert gas, (Nitrogen) before any hydrocarbon are introduced (oxygen and hydrocarbons aren't a good mix:-)). The taps will then be turned on, the plant will then be checked to ensure it does as it is supposed to and that there are not to many seeps, leaks or trips - at this stage oil will go into the tanks where further water will be removed before unloading and Gas will be flared until the gas recovery system kicks is commissioned and they eventually switch the GTs to use gas instead of Diesel (after a few weeks IMO).

Another day over and the SP up a little. That is a week into the first of three fully funded greater Warwick Area Drills. That is another day closer to the introduction of Hyrocarbons (could be anytime) and another day closer to First Oil. Hurricane could be producing oil in a matter of weeks, maybe days and the Price of Oil is touching $75. We are another day closer to finding out how the wells perform, as modelled, slightly better or slightly worse?
I BELIVE that there are more than the 3.5 billion barrels that Hurricane are targeting. I KNOW that the Bod believe that there are more than Double that figure recoverable. Time will tell and I am more than prepared to wait and find out, and the SP will be what it will be.

Nope, only filtered one person and that lasted for a coupl of days. Not many on here bother me those days enough for me to filter them and I have more than enough to keep me busy at home or work to worry about what a fee faceless posters decide to post.

Regarding "Judging you", nobody on a BB can judge anyone, so I do not know why you have continue to justify your position or bother to tell others that you called it right and bought at the bottom. I expect that of The Street and his Ike, not relatively intelligent investors.
From my point of view, this debate has only clogged up the board and detracted away from more interesting things that are actually happening now, now, not in x years time. - perhaps that suits some people.

But why are we comparing to Hurricane to Nano. I have been invested in both Companies and made a decent return on my Nano shares. I then decided that it was the right time to sell for a few reasons that I won't bore folk with But that is my point, we can all find facts to suit our agenda or beliefs, why do some posters continue to try to clog up those boards with their same points of view every couple of months.

Nigwit, I think most posters could find up to date references if the cpuld be bothered to back up whatever point they wanted to make. Personally I really find this ongoing debate here rather repetitive and extremely irrelevant to my personal Investment plan and timeline. Anyone can pick a timeline and compare one share with on other to justify their investment but the truth is I am more than happy and confident on the size of my holding and performance, and really couldn't give a monkeys about other holders investments, % of portfolio invested or views.

Foresight, even if they were, it is unlikely that anyone half credible would want to share it on here any more given the amount of plebs and snowflakes that have turned up or returned under different names. Besides it seems posters would rather debate future climate change rather that the very exciting stuff happening West of the Shetlands.

Ak, perhaps I haven't got as short or as selective memory as some, or am just not as easily taken in. Perhaps he did have a direct line to all those CEO's that he claimed to know, including Dr T from 20odd years back. Perhaps he was right to mock Pi's and Hurricane when the SP dropped by putting words to tunes about the SP going down down down and "peeps" losing money. Perhaps he really is a top bloke and his post were all somehow justified as banter and "winding peeps up". Poiu, although I agree with a lot of what you are saying ref China, a lot, IMO, is sugar coated. Their City's are a lot cleaner but they are still hugely reliant on heavy industry and Coal - they are moving mire to Oil and Gas, pushing demand and other renewable sources but are still the largest polluter in the world.
Interestingly and as always there are a few posters quoting or posting articles that are biased towards their agenda, usaully written by someone with their own agenda. An example is the article regarding the Norwegian Fund - I spoke to a Norwegian colleague in the industry on this, he states that this decision to reduce the risk from investing in higher risk exploration companies was highjacked and used and miss-reported by the Nowegian Liberal Party (Greens) to make a political statement, and that they will continue to invest in Major Oil Companies involved in both exploration and production.
And before you suggest I travel a bit, I have visited and worked in Asia for long periods over the last 30 years, both for the military and in the Oil Industry so I have experienced the good and bad practices that are in place.

Albi, I know BP have several FPSOs with approx 30year lifespans in the design or construction phase, as do other major oil companies. - That alone shows the confidence in the long term future of the industry.

Albi, I did wonder for a minute about my investment in Hurricane in relation future oil demand.
When I say a minute, I am of you are exaggerating somewhat, as I was in the car
, using tyre made from Oil, infact the majority of the inside of the car was made in some part from Oil, as were the sun glasses, clothes and shoes that I was wearing (and the shoe polish if you want to be picky), oh and the golf bag, golf club grips, golf tees, golf balls that I used, all made from oil. Pre round I warmed up on the Artifitual turf (Made from Oil) before getting on the fairway (thankfully the fairway was grass (No oil), although the fertiliser was Oil based). Insect repellent and sunblock on (both oil based) I continued up the fairway which overlooked a couple of tree-huggers camping out pre-demo, in there tent (guess what that is made of) using mobiles (oil) with there oil based candles, beads and tanktops (oil) - no soap or toothpaste in sight though (probably avoided due to them being made from Oil).
Now don't get me wrong, I am concerned about global warming as the artificial ski slopes (more oil) really destroy the edge of my Ski's (mmm, wonder what they are made of - probably the same stuff is used to make my ski poles and ski wax.
