Paolo, the RNS was not rushed out due to the Leak, Hur said a while back that they would RNS hydrocarbon introduction on the FPSO followed later by a Foil RNS.
Also - What steps do you See taking "a month or two" , because I think that the 20 day guidance will be more than enough time to shut in the wells, conduct a couple of plugging runs and collect the data that they need.
Then when you mentioned Horsehill and UKOG I stopped reading for obvious reasons, and have a quick chuckle to myself, or was it the piece about "the genuine North Sea Expert". :-)

"another RNS mid week" ??????? Surely you are not interpreting this RNS to mean that we are expecting official Foil this week, or are you. This is hugely positive, the wells are flowing and the flare is lighting up the sky, and the company are producing oil and generating income. But the next Foil RNS will be a couple of weeks away.
If you are speculating that the Transocen Leader driller on Warwick is close to being oil to surface then you may be closer although I think it will be next week for that at the earliest.

Albi, I have now viewed quite a few photos which are in the public domain from different vessels and it looks like the well or wells are flowing extremely well. - Remember we are only burning off the gas, not the oil like we did on Lancaster DST.

Could be a busy couple of months coming up, First Oil on the Aoka Mizu and preliminary results, or at least a flare on the GWA drill could both drop this month. Then the AGM followed by Capital Markets Day (date tbc). I wonder if they will release an update on the possible move to the Main Market once we are producing and results on the GWA are known. That would really like up a tasty Capital Markets Day. IMO

If we get another couple of percentage rise today and tomorrow then we will should see the Street A(also known as Buy high, Sell Low) buying back in again. :-) .

Ranger I have not seen any Fog Samples being taken for a while now, possibly a dying art - it should definately be on any Green Hats platform induction. IMO

Thanks MC, I never looked up either of the other projects in relation to the timings although I did follow both closely when they happened, and remember very similar posts to what we are seeing here on their lead up to Foil. I hope and think we are close but who really know for sure. Apart from maybe the 80 or so POB on the AM, thier back-to-back and friends and families. If there was anything untowards happening then perhaps we would know by now. I have honestly not heard anything either way so don't take my post as any assurance at all, but FWIW, I am still hold what to me is a considerable amount of Hurricane shares and am pretty relaxed how it is panning out so far. Including the timeline.

IJWT, I don't think that anyone would automatically think that a break in production automatically signifys "crap" permeability/porosity - unless they tuned into this BB and believed half the posters here that have a little or no current knowledge of the industry but want to either make themselves look clever or subtlety cast doubt on the project.

The confusion comes because Hurricane have decided that they will effectively have to two FOils , 1 when they introduce Hydrocarbons and 2 when we have a stable flow, so when they talk about Catcher short (66 days) then we do not really know if they mean possibly 66 days to "HC live or Stable flow. Also when RT talked about the last phase of commissioning being 29days, I took that as 20days after Hydrocarbons were introduced, not 20 days from hook up.
The general industry consensus is that it would be around 6 weeks from Hook up if everything went ok, so hopefully anytime soon.
I would rather they get it right first time them flare and then have to blow down immediately. I also think that any Major problem would be known within the industry and the SP would take a hit, bad news travels fast but there is nothing to suggest that everything isn't going to plan.

Bloobird, the oil industry also use fishing tools as part of well interventions, for dropped bits or stuck pipe etc. It is a little early for those rumours to start on here but I am sure that we will start to see the "clever" Muppets hinting that a fishing job is being lined up on the GWA well in about 3 weeks time there is no sign of a DST taking place. Possibly earlier knowing some on here.

IJWT, we sort of get it, you think there is a delay, you bring it up time after time with no more substance than the other umpteen times you have posted your view on this. Perhaps write to the Company asking for an explanation if you think you need one, or ask RT or the Chairman for 5 minutes of there time before or after the AGM.
I personally think that the board have done exceeding well so far on a complex project and industry to get where they are now, if that were not the case then I would pack up and GTF out of here.
Just my opinion though, although it is shared by many that actually work in the industry who think and hope that this may give the offshore industry a huge boost if Hurricane pull it off.
