Mcadder and other - ref the Aoka Mizu - that's pure nonsense and piffle, your figure 25k to 75k is not correct, not even close. Those saying the AM will replace the Fiinavon for BP - that's a non-starter for so many reasons. I also dont think the AM could work anywhere else in the UK, Norway etc due to the clampdown on flaring consent on new projects. If you listened to the hearing, the QC talked about the EGM and the AGM being on the same day for both practical reasons and that it should be after the next hearing on the 11th (now postponed) so that it is the longer term shareholders that will vote on the EGM proposals. Well neither of those reasons hold up anymore. There is no reason why the EGM cannot be held on the same day as the shareholders meeting that the judge has ordered to happen - and that is what, in my opinion, share holders should be pushing for.

Captain, there is no reason to suspend this share during the court hearing, and I would be very surprised if we get the normal AGM running commentary on here , because anyone commentating, tweeting, reporting, recording or taking screen shots will be in contempt of court.

Roro, that's not what this is about. The requested GM next month is to remove the NEDs. The hearing this morning is about the restructuring. Maybe do a bit of research before commenting as it may mislead others.

Anyone had confirmation that CA are being represented tomorrow or not - I think that CA need a big hitter on this one as a few well meaning PIs may not be enough to persuade the judge.

Adouble, I sold a while ago - 2019 I think, but being involved in the industry and having previously been a Hurricane investor I still follow the story from time to time.

Not having skin in the game has meant I haven't researched possible outcomes properly in regards to the restructuring or the legalities of it all. That said, my gut feeling is that with the Company, the assetts, the cash, the oil and not least the IP which many forget (for FB WoS), the the bond holders are getting this for a fraction of current value if the plan is approved.
I doubt CA would make this move if they had not talked excellent legal advice and if there was not a good chance of success but that's anyone guess.

You and yours are spending a long time in this board since the initial restructuring RNS, be careful past bitterness doesn't destroy you again or you get caught out trying to be too clever.
For me, as an ex Hurricane investor and as someone that has made a decent living working in that sector, I just hope the company survive, recover and turn this around for the sake of the industry. I think it may be tough ask and hope that CRS have actually gone as far as appointing a decent QC as that is what is probably needed here.

Guys, to some extent maybe the saying - don't hate the players - hate the game is very apt here.
Most people know the real identity of the posters (or at least a couple if them) that this threat refers to actually are - and knowing their previous contacts and affiliations then it is not that hard to imagine what their game plan was. So maybe this mornings news was a win-win for everyone.

There are certainly a few that spend hours each day researching the Companies predicament and posting negatively multiple times a day whilst not invested - I doubt they are paid, more likely just losers in life, failed humans, failed bussinessmen and/or bitter people with no life who seek a platform to justify their pathetic existence - why else spend time here??? to help or save others from themselves, I doubt it.

I was invested here a couple of years back, took a hit, ( nothing too serious) and moved on. Yes I still look in from time to time but have no need or want to constantly post under a different name telling everyone to sell because it is doomed and they are all stupid - why other than the reasons above would you bother?.

I find the Company situation very interesting but have absolutely no clue which way it will go - yes, in my simple opinion, it could and should drop to <02p based on the RNS if the court rules in favour of the Company. It could also get back over the 1p mark if there is a sniff of any real challange at the hearing from any credible entity, although that is looking less likely by the day.

That's just my uneducated tupence worth. I am sure there are still a few decent old posters that still look in from time to time and to them and anyone still invested, good luck guys - your cash, your decisions.

Kiran, that is a disclaimer that every single company invklved in any potential assett sale, TO, RTO has to put on the RNS no matter if they are sure that it is a 99.9% certainty. But I guess you probably knew that anyway.

As posted on another thread, I believe the Company are selling every assett including the JV the deal is done and all we are waiting for is the Circular to tell us how much the sucsessfull bidder has agreed to pay for the whole shebang. In my opinion, the Special Dividend will be for the whole sale price less fees. After reading the RNS everything point to this conclusion, in my opinion anyway.
